OK, I see I last commented 7 seven years ago . Came back to watch this because it was truly a magical night.. I literally just watched 10 times right now. But that night was unforgettable. To hear everyone singing to him and see his reaction/backup singers reactions , is something I will never forget. Obviously everyone can see it through the screen here but let me tell you there’s nothing like being there in person. And I do not say that in a bragging way , but I’m just letting you know, I had chills for days after . Such a special moment and feel so honored to have been there ❤️

I’m thrilled that I saw them together at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island back when Kelly was only 21 years old I even have a pic taken in a group with them both! Autographed and all. Love them both still….

The Independent Tour was the loudest concert I had ever been too. Clay and Kelly.... Ruben who? Clay was invited on the tour over Ruben to fill the arenas. Clay opened the show to thunderous applause, everyone from 7 to 75 cheered. Kelly finished the half to great applause and then Clay came back to do Open arms and the arena went bonkers! This clip is from that tour. Sony 19 didn't promote Clay's fourth CD as his sales were better than Kelly & Carrie's combined.

claycurls I'm blessed to have been at that show. Admit I went to see clay but became a major Kelly fan too. But omg the energy in room when he came out in the end for this song,still gives chills

Oh, I was luckily there. And though I love Kelly when Clay came out for his first the place went insane. Even on the nights were he performed first. Mind you this would when they had the co- headlining tour and it was where they were trading off on who opened . One night it was Kelly one night it was Clay. so because they thought Clay was done because of the first half being over, she brought him out for this part and it just went crazy. I was here and I was also in Wilkes-Barre PA when the crowd sang measure of a man to him and it literally got him all choked up. That was an experience I will never forget and something I would definitely recommend looking up.

I just love this song and the two of them singing it.. I love how the crowd goes crazy when Clay comes out.. And if you look close to Kelly you can see a big smile on her face when they do go crazy... Love love this song.

These two performed that song again more recently -- I think Kelly's last tour. Clay surprised the crowd by joining Kelly on stage. I'm sure it's here on youtube -- they both sounded great just like this video.
