Nice project! You can get a tape to aux adapter. Back in the day we used to use those with a portable cd player to listen to cd's in old cars.

@@JapaneseMinitruck I've seen em do it at 130k. I owned a towing business large repair shop. purchased many for $500. The thing is it has a bullet proof tractor engine. No joke the Germans can't make transmissions. Chrysler is bad too. A Toyota will go 300 k without service, BMW, Jaguar is ok Ford engines and transmissions. You ever change clutch in your hard body? I did. Make sure you separate parts bolts because a lot of them. I got some bolts mixed up it's not a easy one my Miata 2 hrs Nissan? Two weeks. think I have same truck 95 .. 5-speed purple ac, power mirrors roll up windows. Xe I believe I repainted it white sanded decals off.

@user-bu8bc6kg4f oh that's awesome! My black hardbody is a 97 and then my purple hardbody is a 91, I repainted the purple truck, but the black truck is just spray paint black right now as it's kind of midway through a project, the Mercedes has a couple funky issues right now it takes a few seconds to start and then has a hard idel, I found the coil pack is arching so hopefully that'll fix one of my issues on the car!

I purchased my truck new 1995 single cab 2x4 AC Power mirrors purple. First thing i did was remove the strips. I still have it. I repainted it white i used it a good bit slowly restoring it. When diesel is high i drive it more. 2.4. ive owned others id fix problems resale make extra cash. I prefer the 2.4 over v6 ive owned them a not enough power difference. I am watching a older lwb a old man owns he's really took car of. I've never had a lwb. I had a cherry 97 2x4 auto trans power windows. I didn't wanna sell it because my wife could drive it when she needed a truck she can't drive a stick. I got a offer i couldn't refuse. A man said he was looking for his daughter and all had too many miles or junky it was perfect 108k miles original paint no whiskey dents i sold it found another 4x4 a guy was trading in at a car lot i had a guy id give finders fee. Purchased many that way. He never calls these days not many left on road.

they are getting more and more scarce these days, I remember seeing them around when I was a kid and now it's very seldom to see them driving, especially where I live in the rustbelt! I've always been for the 2.4 over the V6 on these!

I also have a similar question, i have a 2 wheel drive 1994 Nissan extended cab D21 4-cylinder, and a 84 extended cab 4 cylinder 4x4 with blown motor. Can i put the 94 cab with wires etc and motor onto the frame of the 84 4x4 ??? And will the 94 4-cylinder motor bolt up to the 84 4-cylinder 4x4? By the way they're both 4spd manual? Thanks in advance
@JapaneseMinitruck19 күн бұрын
interesting I haven't commonly seen four-speed man on these. Usually there are five speed, I would ask some forums to see what the possibility is, your engine should mount up to the frame. No problem might need to switch the mounts, but the frame should all be the same as far as mounting the engine, I just don't know if it'll mount up to your transmission
@redmondj597719 күн бұрын
@@JapaneseMinitruck Your right it's a 5 speed manual. I must've been thinking about my 85 S10 that had a V6 with 4spd manual... My bad .... Lol
@JapaneseMinitruck18 күн бұрын
@redmondj5977 oh OK, like I said, I'm not sure if the Z24 5 speed manual is the same one that they paired with the KA but if they are the same transmissions, then I don't see why you would have an issue doing the swap!
