Attention love was one of the first Chinese dramas I ever watched. This song was memorable. I had always had it on my phone, but then my phone got formatted and I lost the song, so obviously I wanted to download it. But everything was such a long time ago that I had forgotten the title of the song, forgotten the title of the drama, I had even forgotten the lyrics. It hounded me for months. And then, I suddenly remembered a line from the song, so I searched for it on google. I was happy to find that Google recognised it. I ran so fast to Spotify. But the song I found was different. The lyrics were the same, the melody was the same, but it felt like a different song. I couldn't listen to it. So I went and sought every cover I could find and listened to them. But they weren't the one I was looking for. So I went back to Google and searched "close to you song in Chinese drama". That was when I realised that Attention love wasn't Chinese, but Taiwanese. Anyway, I played the video and sure enough, this was the one I was looking for. So I went to the description for who sang it so that I could download their cover. But alas, the name is in Chinese and I can't even click on it. I did the next best thing; took a screenshot and translated it via Google translate. I thought this would be the end, but no. Of course not. Turns out, the translated name isn't Spotify, so surely, the cover also isn't on Spotify. Wait! WAIT! I just had a brainstorm. What if instead of the song, I searched for the drama on Spotify. It should bring out a play list with the Ost's and if I'm lucky with this, the song should be there. I don't know if it's obvious yet, but I'm somewhere on the Autism spectrum. I need what I want, I don't want a replacement.
