Just can't find good Chinese takeaway in New Zealand, and although American buffets are like fifteen kinds of chicken dishes, they were still fantastic and I miss them the most. New Zealand suks.

I have a pretty weird favourite order that I think is pretty exclusive to my local, it is called crispy peanut chicken which is essentially battered chicken with what is like a thick peanut butter kind of sauce with peanut pieces. It is so god damn good, I think it should be everywhere. I also like to order duck in plum sauce and lemon chicken.

Pork fillet or sliced chop with salt and chilli in a crisy batter or crispy beef salt and chilli. Yours Sweet and sour looks lovely

You know what the worst thing is, the ads KZbin put in these videos when the channel doesn't have enough followers for her to even be making money from them yet. Growing up dad and I shared a Chinese takeaway once a week. Our default dish was BBQ Spare Ribs and a big portion of chips. On occasion my dad would fancy a dish that I didn’t like so I would then have Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls and Chips. The balls were done in a lovely light crispy batter but over the past 25 years - the fashion seems to be much thicker stodgier batter which isn’t as nice. I’d have to try these from your place to know but they certainly look less stodgier. 😋

I work in my family Chinese restaurant here in USA and I'm always amazed at how different "Chinese" food is in different countries. My parents are selling their restaurant after being open for 21 years and retiring. Me and my brother finished college and work in tech now.

No idea why this popped up on my feed but that is one of the best pre-prepped and cleanest takeaway kitchens I've seen. Literally hours of work before opening. Having watched this I wish you were my local - I'd be ordering weekly! Good luck to you all!
