this reminds me of a very hard time in my life. i went to a new school in 2019 and was looking forward to making new friends. people are mean tho, and it's always been like that. i guess i expected to much from people. i was invited to this one girls birthday party. she was my friend, and still is now. i was uncomfortable the whole time because i felt very out of place. most of the people there did not like me at all. worst part is, they had no reason not too. towards the night some girls got in the hot tub and decided to have a water ballon fight. i didn't want to participate but i was forced too. i heard left and right 'throw it at alexis' 'hit her' 'get her' 'hit her face' so i kept dodging the balls. one hit me pretty hard in the leg so i began to walk away and as i walked away i got hit again. everyone was just watching jt happen and did nothing. i went to the bathroom and broke down crying. i was in so much pain i couldn't even breathe. all i wanted was to have a good time.. people are so mean. to this day, i will remember the pain that i experienced in that moment but that it made me realize people can and will be mean for no reason and that it's not always my fault.
