​@@MakeCraftGame Lord of the Hundreds came in dead last because everybody gangs up on him, and because his scoring model is so simplistic and easy to predict that it makes it easier for other players to defeat him if they form an alliance. All you need is a unified front line to deny his advancements. The fact that everyone's afraid of his mob tokens' fire 🔥 spreading to their clearing randomly (even if he didn't want it to spread there) makes POLITICING with the Lord of the Hundreds impossible. So they'd rather keep you far, far away from their bases rather than ally with you, and risk the mob token unintentionally spreading to their vital infrastructure. As the The Art Of War states: Appear strong when you are weak. Appear weak when you are strong." The fact that they can never [voluntarily] appear weak is their greatest weakness.

Unfortunately, we did not track Vagabonds that were played but I know of at least one win with the Ranger.

The lizards strength is their sanctification ability and their ability to recruit anywhere on the board. It makes them unpredictable. You can cause turmoil in birds, have them take out your base and build new bases on he other side of the board in the marquise's area, and start scoring hard from a position of safety

@@dab0331 it's true that sanctification it's quite powerfull against birds. But it's also powerfull against most of the factions. WA, Duchy.... I think root needs one more balance change aiming for otters. Besides I would like to see and advance setup thinking on 3 and 5 players games. It would be fantastic!

@@kaworusergio What they need for Otters is CORPORATISM. They need the ability to negotiate better by giving one faction a lower price for a certain service than others. It's a house rule I came up with, which I want to start implementing. You take the faction tokens the Vagabond uses (I never like games with Vagabonds; not a fan of them its not at least 5 players) and place them on your price board, using them to indicate what the special corporate price is for a faction you want to ally with, while using the blue beads to indicate everyone else's prices. You even have the ability to temporarily (and strategically) lower your prices below your corporate favorite's rate, you just can never charge him higher than others. Example: you give the Eyrie a special discount on riverboats for the price of 2 while everyone else gets charged 4. The Eyrie get too strong, so you intend to help the Marquise by lowering the generic market rate to 1 in order to entice them. Thus angering the birds and helping the cats. The only catch is that you cannot charge the birds more than 1 since the generic price is lower than his corporate rate of 2. You both then have to decide whether or not you drop his corporate price to 1 and raise again the generic price OR you cut off the relationship entirely and you now side with the cats and give them the corporate discount instead. That's really how the East India Company of England used corporatism to divide and conquer India by aiding and pitting kingdoms against one another and then betraying one at a strategic time.
