For those who are interested in price, found this laser welder on a site in the UK, going for 21k GBP before VAT, or about 27k USD. As of Aug 2023.

Even for a laser welder, isn't that a lot of money with questionable support if something goes wrong?

@@DeksZagreb The purchaser would have to weigh their need for production speed against the price and as you said, against their trust of the company’s customer support. Early adopters will always pay more- for large companies, 20-30k is inconsequential. I have heard that many robotic assembly lines have been using laser welding for some time. A bit rich for my budget, and I’d love to see what is available in 10-20 years from now.

Is the wire feeder inside the welding machine box on the other side or a separate unit?

At 00:34, the wire feed can be seen at the bottom of the torch. Maybe the other shots they were using it in some sort of "tack mode" like a tig torch without filler? Not sure.
