Just got mine in the mail 2 days ago! Haven't got to test them on the kit yet but the feel stupidly excellent in my hands however I did worry that they're gonna break fast. Your video just made me lose that fear though!

i got a 3 pack of them and a couple of them were duds split right down a grain. If you play very lightly and don't chop at cymbals they are probably fine.

@@jddrum371 i am ruthless on sticks as a beginner, some handles it fine. the two that broke lasted 5 minutes and they had grains crossing where they fractured

I throw about 8 cotton wool balls in and that works. But if you tune the bottom head up slightly and get rid of that pitch bend, they'll sound a ton better.

I tune lower head to shell which is wood no plastic. then add cotton balls to controll bottom head. then I tune top head like dave weckle which means bottom head is lower. I turn each lug up and down to see where it violates or not on overtone. then I have a great sounding tom.. snare is though bottom head might be looser than top
