I like that you brought up decade old books! good books get forgotten after several years, if they don't blow up with a movie and merch deal. I reread the wrath and the dawn duology (from 2015) recently, and was pleasantly surprised that I still enjoyed it! also I've been seeing V.E. Schwab show up in more and more reccs lately... now everytime I check, my library's copies are always checked out lol

didn't know about the target sale, but my local libraries hosted used book sales this past month (i went to three lol). book sales are so dangerous, huh? btw, i read the starling house from one of your previous reccs, and i ADORED it. bought a copy before i even finished reading it, i knew it would become a favorite. the characters were so endearing. so much heart in that story!

this is a little thing, but i personally never read book cover summaries, cause i like the plot to surprise me. i like how your reviews are like vague commentary of the book, which gets me interested without feeling too spoiled

I loved a Study in Drowning, it was so atmospheric. Nettle and Bone-Yes yes yes!!!! So good! I decided to get the sequel to Silver Under Nightfall ( I completely forgot I wanted to read that this fall. I have the rest already which doesn’t surprise me bc we really do have very similar book tastes. This list is fantastic ❤ Have fun at your friends wedding.

I feel that the pandemic changed time frames and how I perceive my age( I keep thinking I’m 4 years younger than I am) I’m assuming it’s bc ….it feels like I lost so much time bc of lockdowns and than my anxiety keeping me from going out when things did open. Looking forward to this video.

And I 100% agree with you--I've always been a homebody, but I never felt too anxious in social settings until the pandemic. I have two big weddings coming up this year that I have to travel for and I'm definitely already feeling the anxiety 😵💫
