Hello! My name is Grace! I'm the creator behind Everyday Barbie💜 I was wondering if it would be ok for me to make a video of me making a Doll sock sweater using your pattern video? I would give you full credit and encourage viewers to subscribe to your channel :). I just wanted to get your permission before I upload. Thank you so much for reading, and your content is truly incredible! Sincerely, Grace💜

Was a little confused on the fabric sheet and how it gets applied . This video might not be for beginners . I would have liked to see how it was done rather than just an explanation. Otherwise great video

Stumbled on this for the first time today, love your sweaters and dollhouse renovation. Been wanting to try making a sweater and I have probably a dumb question but how do the sweaters fit over the doll heads? Do the collars stretch that much? Is they a hidden opening? Thanks!
@1.6scale10 күн бұрын
The neck of the sweater is made from the band of the sock which is very stretchy and can fit over the dolls heads even dolls with a lot of hair. You can open the back of the sweater and reclose it with Velcro or snaps but I have been able to get the sweaters over all of my dolls heads. Thank you for your question and I hope this helps! 😊

Good evening. Wouldn't it be smarter to use worn or orphaned socks? not very eco-friendly to buy socks for this, even if the principle is good?
@1.6scale11 күн бұрын
You can use any type of socks that you'd like for this project new or worn. I buy my socks at dollars stores and thrift stores to make it more cost effective.

What about Ken and other 12-inch male figures?
@1.6scale21 күн бұрын
I give the measurements for the ken doll at the end of the video. To make a sweater for a 12 inch doll use a larger sock and make the body and sleeves longer to fit the doll.😊

I enjoyed watching this video. One question. Are they easy to put on? As for a child? Thank you. Jane
@1.6scaleАй бұрын
The sweaters are easy to put on they stretch well over the head and hands. To make it easier to put on the doll try cutting open the back of the sweater and using Velcro to reclose it. Thank you!😊

Where do you get those Barbies with all the moveable joints. I haven’t seen those in any stores. Your videos are the clearest, most straightforward ones I have ever seen. Please keep making them.

Thank you! I found these dolls at thrift stores last year and there doesn't seem to be as many as there used to be but I always take a look and sometimes I get lucky and find one! 😊
