Does the 1/8 in. vacuum line slide inside the vacuum line that runs off the switch and then did youn wrap some tape around it so it does not slide out under pressure. This for an 01 Dodge Ram 1500. Thank you, J

I got a 99 Dakota. The black goes to a line coming off the brake booster(which, of course, originates at the intake manifold). It exits the cab where the 3/4 inch heater hose goes through the firewall.

The part number that I've found in this thread..2 of them. Do not match my cable. The AUC in the beginning seems to be my hang up.

I'm late to the party, but I just want to say thanks for sharing your knowledge. This solution brought my A/C back to life! It was a great feeling when the cool air came out of the proper vents. When it's 120 outside, it sure helps!

Partially drive up the gate on the side u will have more access to 2 blades then for the last blade drive on that side a little higher on the gate u will be halfway on the gate on both ends

does this fix heat to come out of the front vent aswell? no matter what it seems mines just blowing threw the vent

My AgPro guy said my throttle cable was getting frayed and I should replace it. Only 58 hours on the JD EZ turn, and never felt any looseness or slack in the throttle lever. He said will cost $133, to replace the cable. I feel like its never been lubricated and maybe that contributed or maybe Im being had? It seemed to work fine in the yard with no issues before I took in for annual tune up. Appreciate any thoughts out there.

The vacuum tubing on mine broke at the firewall. Must be a weak spot. The plastic was a bit deliriated too.

Very cool. Im surprised in just seeing this video after searching this up many times. My 95 has 164k. I put new shocks and then realized most of the front end ball joints have to worn out. Steering g wheel was crooked with a good amount of play. Still drive decent. First we did the track bar and they aligned it but I went more and did the tie rods they weren’t clunking and the shop said they were ok but you could smoothly move them around pretty easily. Had them replaced. Need to check it out when I pick it up and I’m sure the tie rod assembly will not be moving so easil. Im surprised they were able to align it.

Great video,just got done doing this to mine. I ran my line across underneath seal against firewall. Zip tied it to wire harness and ran through fire wall by steering column. Total time about 30 minutes!!

Hopefully you will see this. My 98 the air coming out of the dash will divert to the defrost when I go up a hill. Do you think this will fix it?

So I have the same issue , and I think it’s causing my truck to have a rough idle and loss of power. I hope this fixes the issue.

Just changed the same throttle cable on my 355e model, 2016. I took off the heat shield and green back plate for more room. Seat springs didn't need to be taken off. New cable works like a champ! Great helpful video. I believe that I just saved myself $200, thank you!

Thanks for the video. My vacuum line came off at the check valve. I could not figure out what was supposed to go to it. I guess the line fell back into the cab. My truck is really clean though. No cracks in entire original dash. Im going to try and go fishing.

Part # AUC10079 $64.06. I'm thinking I'll take the bumper off so if I don't have the cable right it will be easy to adjust. And if you have the Torx sockets, you probably don't need to remove all that plastic, just bend the plastic out some and get it from underneath. Thanks for the video.
