Opening for Triumph at Exhibition Stadium in front of 30,000 screaming Triumph fans, Doucette opening is given his Platinum Record for "Mama" which he has not played yet. Good response as everyone knew "Mama". Well, "The Douce" rips off a 12 minute version of Mama, 8 minute guitar solo and the place is in awe wanting an Encore. Well Triumph refuses and for the only time Triumph gets boo'd, and in their hometown. They never recovered, as "The Deuce owned them that night.

I definitely agree that they are worlds apart...but!....everyone takes inspiration from bands/music that they love...doesn't matter who is being inspired by it....but the creator of it has got to be honoured that people love their music enough to "steal" ideas from it.

Guyz you missed out on Glam Rock’ in the USA. In Britain it livened up and brought sparkle to depressing economic times. Their hair styles reflected a fashion of those days and believe it or not Sweet toned down their image by the time this track was released. Check out earlier hits - Blockbuster, Hellraiser, Ballroom blitz, Wig Wam Bam, Alexander Graham Bell … SWEET were Glam Rock along with T Rex & David Bowie.

PUZZLE - It's a goddamn masterpiece. There's an official live video from the 2023 Tokyo Garden concert, but in my opinion, the video of the 2017 performance at Shinkiba Studio Coast is better and Kanami is higher up in the mix. Unfortunately, that video was taken down on KZbin quite a while back, but you might find it on other platforms. There is also an acoustic version of the song with just Kanami and Saiki from the 2018 Tokyo Zepp concert.

Bandmaid and the Warning are without a doubt the Queens of Rock... but the Goddesses of Metal is undoubtedly LoveBites another all female Japanese Band that are phenomenal musicians who blend aspects of all the great 80's and 90's bands into their own sound... Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

This piece is an extro piece for Grendizer U anime, the music they write for anime openings and extros tend to have this production quality, super dense and squashed. If you listen to their music that isn't associated with anime, it tends to be roomier sounding.

For fairly new melodic Japanese rock n roll, I’ve been grooving to a band called The Stereogang. Even if you don’t do a reaction to it, please give a listen to their song Bat Nightmare. They just came out with a new ep with a song Money that I like to.
