The steps are a bad choice for real off-road use. They will hit everything and can tweak the body. The factory sliders are good for what most people will use them for.

If you plan on getting a new lift kit, new suspension, new wheels and tires, and all the other add-ons then you can expect to pay over $10,000. Oh yeah plus the labor charges of course.

So I’m curious did you guys install wheel spacers or use wheels with an offset? Seen another build on KZbin on a 392 without the XtremeRecon package. He had rubbing on the front tires when full left or right respectively. He also had rubbing on the top of the wheel well on the back tires when fully articulated. Not that I think that will be an issue on this specific Jeep since it looks like a street Jeep. But for the rubbing on the front he ended up using spacers as he added bigger aftermarket brakes anyway.
@rogue1092 жыл бұрын
Yeah when you go from 17" to 20" wheels, you know it's not going to get "flexy"...its for looks.
@williamh65472 жыл бұрын
I put 37s on my 392, with a -12 backspace, no issues, then I added 1.50 Spacer's, slight rubbing on front bumper at full turn, so I took endcaps off bumper, everything is good now. And contrary to what anyone reads or tells you, you DO NOT need to WASTE money on bigger brakes🤷🤷 this thing stops on a dime with factory brakes, which are more than enough for 98% of people doing their jeeps. If you are out west or mid west going up and down super high hills, then maybe, MAYBE, other than that, save your hard earned money. I've been building jeeps, and mudding at least 19 yrs, and turning wrenches 20+ yrs. Most of what you hear with most of this upgrade crap is hype and ignorance. Use your money to buy NEEDED upgrades instead.
