I know I read someone else comment the same. But you run the cord through your parka sleeves. Then put the jacket on with the cord against your back/shoulders. The mitts will just dangle when the mitts aren’t needed (working on tasks requiring dexterity/using your outer gloves or inner gloves or bare handed). Great video. Many thanks

Lucky find with the Pikes Peak. They made those from the 1860s into the 1880s if my memory serves me correctly. Yours looks to be 1875 or so, depending on if there is a pontil on the base or not. The embossing in the oval on the other side shows which shows the glasshouse that made it. That’s the half pint variety.

It doesn't make sense that you are worried about the swivel "jumping a knot" but not worried about the hook jumping off the overhand knot. Feels like they are equally concerning or not concerning.
@countrydirtkid4451
@countrydirtkid4451 Ай бұрын
yup the thing is that if the swivel jumps the knot it's now out of position and sliding down the main line. Pulling it back over the knot with pliers usually makes it more likely to happen again. If the hook jumps the knot, I can always just tie another drop line because I have a bunch of line still left on the spool. I made this video years ago and still use this trotline. I'm amazed how long its lasted. The swivels came off another trotline and are over 35 years old. Thanks for watching.

So I checked out your vid. I can't subscribe, I don't wanna be just another subscriber adding more tension to the constrictor around your neck, adding that much more data to your algorithm. If you actually have the feelings/beliefs that you speak of,... why do you have a YT channel ? Why are you monetized ? Why are you taking the money, made by the viewing and tracking of your videos ? Seems staged to me. BTW, I own a cell camera,.. they're not all that bad stuff that you say they are. You don't receive notifications at 2-2:30 in the morning unless that's what you select. There's no emails and no pw"s. You do create an account, and after that it's just the camera and your phone app. You choose what time the photos/vids are sent to your phone and I don't have to trek out to empty a memory card when full.

I found a Spanish silver Reale right here in small town Illinois. The date is unreadable, but I can see that the second digit is a 7. It was a ghostly feeling standing in a field of nothing holding it in my hand. I have the federal census from this area, so I know the names of the people that lost it. I stopped making videos because out of 4000 subscribers less than 100 people would watch each new video. Out of that the majority of them swiped out before the halfway point meaning almost no one made it to the main point which I always put at the end. Maybe next spring I will try again. Thanks

The plants use photosynthesis to create sugars that they can exchange with the bacteria/fungi in exchange for nutrients. The more sugar the plants can create, the more the bacteria will feed them. It's a symbiotic relationship. When the sugar content of the plant (BRIX content) gets high enough the plant will also stop feeding the microbes as they have all they need. Growth will also cease...To combat this, the microbes will start to create Volatile Organic Compounds to trick the plant into producing more sugars, further encouraging plant growth. When the sugar content of the plant (BRIX Content) is >13%, the plant is no longer seen as a food source for insects. This doesn't happen with chemical fertilizers which is why they are more prone to insect damage
@countrydirtkid4451
@countrydirtkid4451 3 ай бұрын
Thank you, I never knew that. I will read up on that phenomenon. I also read that with synthetic fertilizers the leaf tissue has a backlog of easy to digest animo acids waiting to be connected into proteins by the plant. Insects sense this and are stimulated to reproduce explosively. Do you know anything about that? Thanks for watching.
