Then there's Harley-Davidson Insurance company. On July 20th, 2024 I attempted to acquire motorcycle insurance with Harley-Davidson Insurance for my 2015 Road Glide. I filled out all the information requested on their website. They came back with a quote of $108.00 for a 12 month policy, which I was happy about. Before confirming this policy their website did a search and found that I had a previous insurance claim for a cracked windshield with my automobile. Therefore the quote suddenly increased to $780.00! I've had no accidents and no citations for over 15 years. The claim I had on record was due to a cracked windshield that I suffered from a truck that I was following which was no fault of mine. It appears that Harley-Davidson Insurance penalizes people for unfortunate situations that was not due to the operator's negligence. I contacted one of their representatives who said that due to that windshield insurance claim it will take 3 years before they will honor the lower policy amount. I will never, ever apply for another Harley-Davidson policy due to their moronic regulations. I always thought Harley-Davidson stood up for their customers. Obviously they only care about your money.

Greetings from the lowest 48! Funny thing is I downsized from a Street Glide Special and have no regrets. The STS was pimped out with every option except for AC. Getting back to raw power and handling brings me back to my younger days without going to a trike. Stop complaining and use the Sporty as it was meant to be. And all Harleys are a SOB to get into neutral, no matter what size. Have fun and be safe!

That headlight seems to give off a bluish tinged beam, that would be illegal here in the UK. I bit the bullet and bought a genuine H-D "Daymaker", it was £400, but it does give off a pure white beam, so it is perfectly legal here.

Have the same year n model. 5’10” and up would benefit with the increase in leg room along with reduce scraping in turns with addition with forwards. I had plans of replacing the mini apes but I found they are quite near perfect when adjusted to your arm length. The only thing I would have changed with my purchase would have NOT have traded my 94 sportster 883 deluxe in…I forgot my mantra to always add to and not subtract from your collection. I have had my iron 1200 for 3yr and 12000 miles and other than needing new tires it has had no issues. I love blasting around on it. What other bike can you go zero to 55 and seem like you just were in a rocket launch without the ticket?

My 2022 Street Bob is getting Soft tail Slim handle bars. Much better for me that the tall bars that come on it. (Shift lever is adjustable) Low idle... Should have rode my 1940 Knuck!

Dude I moved from Ontario to New Brunswick and my insurance for a Harley road king 2004 dropped to half I was paying in ontario. 635 for the year. Always heard BC was a expensive province. You should do more videos about the costs of things in BC.

Nice review man, I kind of felt the same way when I rode the softail the first time years ago, after coming from a sport bike, I ended up going for the 2014 street bob, now that the SB got totaled, I'm back at looking at the softail. So I feel you.
