Insightful discussion and crucial lessons indeed. Two pertinent aspects often neglected in the corporate arena and in this scenario that stand out are “GOOD corporate governance”, which include ethics, integrity and “psychological safety” - a topic closely linked to DEI (diversity, equity & inclusion) look forward to this in the next one.

I was a presenter at a Corporate Governance Conference last week and these are some issues which were discussed. My presentation focused on the benefits of coaching for Board members. One benefit of growing slowly is learning how to manage your cash flow. Often, people’s mindsets don’t grow in equal proportions to the cash flow.

Many of the reasons include: rude managers, a lack of commitment to meetings, not giving feedback to the staff, or coaching them. Only focusing on the results and not on the people.

Some food for thought. As a book coach I realise that authors also have to be leaders. They have a team of people helping them to accomplish their goals. Sometimes they have not been in leadership before and it can be a difficult shift.

The younger generation certainly know tech well. We often go to our kids for help with the latest tech. A very nice conversation. It certainly is a management challenge to learn how to work with the different generations.

I never knew that noise was a trigger but I usually get irritated with loud music it get to me quickly to a point I don't even go to parties because of that 🤣🤣,

@brucemoyo8252 If your main modality is auditory, that means that noises can either be pleasant or very unpleasant. I have found that noise can be a big factor for me! I remember in varsity days dancing and not being able to speak with the loud music, now I wouldn't want to be in that environment at all!

Well, this post triggered me, LOL. I had to push pause and go take care of bathroom duties. We all have to watch out for those triggers. But I do regularly get triggered through noise.
