Hey there, I was hoping you could please answer a question I had that's been bugging me for a while. Wikipedia refers to the film as a spiritual successor, but if you ask me, this seems like a sequel to The Reef. So what gives? What do you think it is, or what did Mr Traucki refer to it as?

Man, look, this is an anti-war film. The fear of torture, rape, and cannibalism by depraved maniacs is as real in war as it is in fiction. The Sadness exploits those fears in almost every scene in the film. The extreme horror makes you empathetic toward the heroes and villains

Fantastic interview! LOVED the Cronenberg nods throughout the movie - made me so, so happy. Such a top tier horror film, so glad Rob didn’t censor anything, the rawness was so refreshing. The emotional aspect & moments of calm took The Sadness to another level 10/10

I saw that too! It was a bit tricky to take a look at his collection while interviewing him. I also had a question lined up to ask him what his favourite horror movie was but due to time limit, I had to cancel it.

THis movie is awesome. Larry is really a brilliant actor. So believable as a preacher whose a dick to his wife. He really is a master of subtle but scary cues.
