i wonder why have they removed that feature from AoE2 DE when soldiers/villagers died their corpses would rot and turn into skeletons, having the corpses simply disappear feels kinda lame

I suppose this is because of China's censorship law, where skeletons are prohibited in video games and AoE is very popular there or they wanted it to be popular in China? Quoting Quora: "The skeleton is considered not really a PG tier thing in China, thus for content that kids will consume they don’t want skeletons in it. However for adult movies and such it’s allowed."

Thank you *SO* much for posting this. Normally I don't mind some commentary but this game is one that is best introduced by allowing its soothing music and subtle but omnipresent atmosphere to soak in, while showing off the simple but increasingly deep gameplay. Fantastic.

Agreed! I was expecting more quality of life features mixed with what made old Homeworld famous for. Instead we got a clunky, annoying UI and lack of immersion.

Considering UI is one of the last elements to be tweaked on game development, I hope they catch on to the feedback and improve it. I need my sensors manager ' *wooooooooooom* ' EDIT: It's actually there, you can hear it at 2:55, it's just VERY quiet.

Yes! You are correct :) The game itself is meant to "enjoy the drift" while I suck at it :D I am more like Trackmania type of player.
