How can one make a musical about Watford Gap without including the song Watford Gap by Manchester's poet laureate Roy Harper? Clearly this project got away from the BBC.

The misery went on a bit after. It took a while for things to start looking up after having to lick all the wounds. Coal rationing had only ended the year before. And the war so messed up dairy production that non-cheddar cheese would be officially discouraged until the eighties! 😀

Great British made shoes. There is something about a beautifully made poor of leather shoes, great comfort and class (even when worn with a pair of jeans!). I can relate to the attraction of buying multiple pairs of shoes and if you can afford 50 pairs, why not...good on this gentleman:)

Is this Jonathan's real singing voice or is it put on just for us. I remember he has sung when he and the lads have a dinner party. I would love to know. We all love you Jonathan, we really do.
