Just buy a RAT pedal and a BIG MUFF for most of these tones . Will never be able to replicate the sound or feeling of standing in front of a Model T stack unless you buy one . Honestly

I read about your handwork and evrybody are agree that you produce some excellent preamp but your videos are not at the same level. In this case you should give some spec like kind of power amp, kind of mic and of cabinet. I'm fightin' with my guitarist that love so much Sunn suond but earing your videos he's not still in love with your creatures.

So is this the "lead" or the "bass" version? I want to order one, but I need to find out which type to get. I don't play bass, so i suppose the lead one? I've played through bass-effects before with my 'regular' guitar, but for this one I don't know.. Any advise please? thank you!

The tube channel is based on preamp section Sunn’s Model-T (1973), with two 12ax7EH tubes. The "stone" channel has the preamp of the RAT distortion on chip LM308N.

I have one. It's awesome! My dream tone. I managed to dial in a tone very much like the Monlith magma video with this box. Only fault i'd say is it gets brighter as you increase the gain, which i guess is a byproduct of the way the CMOS chips clip. As a result your tone gets dull when you roll the volume knob down.

how much would an fx loop send and return cost to be added? which channel is which in this video?

There is not enough space inside the pedal to accommodate the send and return connectors. This is beta bass.

Do you guys sell a power supply for this, or recommend a specific one? I've been trying to find a compatible one, but it's been really hard to find a 12V DC adapter with enough current to power this in the US.

Hi CORRECT SOUND Custom, I wonder if you could CORRECT me? I am confused as to the correct use of a pedal pre amp. Is a pedal pre amp supposed to plugged in through the normal "in" guitar plug. Then this would make every pedal a "pre amp pedal. or is a pre amp pedal suposed be pluged in through effects loop or some where else? Thanks for the demo.

On this demo, the preamp is plugged into the amplifier return jack. But it can also be connected to the Input.

Wow, I'm impressed. Might have to be ordering one of these pretty soon. I've tried other pedals that are supposed to emulate the Model T but haven't been impressed. But none of them have had an actual pre-amp section like this pedal does.

Dear CSE: I own a Damage Control "Demonizer". I am unhappy with its sound. It is too weak. Are there any mods you might be willing to do to it that might bring it closer to th great sounds you get from your "The BLACK Sunn"? I guess I could stack it with a RAT or an Acapulco Gold. The Demonizer has 2 12ax7s; just not near enough Sunn Model T in kill mode.

That's a great setup for that pedal, almost like two pedals within another pedal with the addition of the ABY. Did you do passive or buffered ABY wiring for those switches?

This pedal contains two different and independent devices in one box. Two channel splitter is to the right. Two channel blender is to the left. Inand out of this pedal do not depend on each other. In is for splitter and Out is for blender. Splitter divides the input signal into two perfectly independent and absolutely identical signals. There are no any regulators. You can send the signals, for example, to two amps or to two different effects chains and so on. Wherein the blender can be out of use. The blender has two inputs A and B and can be on/off by the right switch A+B. When it is on the LED indicator beside the switch blend is on. When blender is on, signals from both inputs are blended and lead the out. You can regulate correlation of signals with the help of knob blend. There is one more difference between channel A and channel B. If there are no connection In channel B then a signal from input of the splitter in is lead to the channel B with the help of inner splint. This allows to blend direct signal with processed signal. The inner connection is off when the plug is on to the channel B. If the blender is off the signal from one of the channel leads directly to out (true bypass). The left footswitch A/B switches either A or B signal leads to the out. The correspondent indicators is on. 9 V DC outside stabilizing power supply is necessary for functioning of this pedal. The power plug has standard connection for effect pedals - minus in the center.
