Funny watching this now. And hearing her say that “she wants beautiful things”. But I want for myself is not to want” things”

I loved this format. I love both Oprah and Brene but sometimes I think they have it all figured out. It was reassuring to sée that they too are figuring life out and are continually learning. V interesting that Brene described Oprah as teacher and student. My aim is to drop my ego more and dive deeper to learn from my own mistakes and those of others. I struggle with listening to myself and others.

I'm sooo glad I listened to this video,,, I also learn from others' mistakes. My favourite uncle started drinking liquor after marrying sumbody who drank and it was as if he was drinking for all the years he didn't drink, a very prosperous man became a shadow of who he was, I told myself young as I was ( teenager) that I would never touch liquor, I thank the Lord for hearing my prayers, I'm 73 yrs old now since 2022 October 24th, still keeping that promise to myself. Oprah I love u and all your shows, the Lord has blessed u with great wisdom,, I thank the Lord for u.....

Excellent video. We need oprah in politics to help our democracy. We need more people like this. Warning…politics has more haters. Here Oprah’s knowlege can be an advantage. My intention is to listen and get better and learn how to rise up. It has to be a psychologist there is much empathy. God bless. Example. Oz against Fetterman.

You two women changed my life drastically at different times in my life. I read every single book I could get my hands on back in 1996 when I first moved to North America. Also your journey of weight loss helped me loose all extra weight I was carrying all my teenage years which soared my confidence as a first step. Brene I researched you and read almost every single book and podcast by you during covid that kept me grounded during that time. Along with Glennon Doyle. You two ladies kept me going during the time where the world was complaining about covid I saw it as a opportunity of growth and working on myself. I kept reading and kept growing without complaining and We were three generations living under the same roof in a small space so you can imagine how much fun that was 😂 You taught me that its ok to be vulnerable (which was a foreign subject for someone like me), shame is normal and we all carry it (I carried so much shame related to tough parenting style I practiced on my middle child). Your book atlas of the heart is simply remarkable and its time I revisit all of your books. You two are queens who have the power to change this world! I know I do too and I am trying it my own small world I don’t have a stage and audience like you but at this time I am raising three leaders who will be tomorrows future and have the power to spread love, compassion, kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity. And I am so fucking proud of myself and them. We are all work in progress and we are all learning and growing together every single day. The four of US - our little world of me as the pack leader and my three cubs. We don’t stop and will NOT step.

LOVE THIS!!! This year has been my year to face my greatest fears: modeling for a friend as a fat (and older) model (haha, and short); asking for payments from clients; sending offers that charge my WORTH, which is the ULTIMATE fear! Also working with my client who coaches how to set boundaries and learning to use his techniques to set clear boundaries! Also a HUGE fear! So, FEAR: watch out!!! You've been put on notice.
