I'm rewatching this in 2022, this might be the third time I've binged on it? Enjoying it so much. I'm amazed this series was cancelled when it got the same number of viewers as the modern Cluster F they call "Doctor Who", and it's so much better. This must have been so disappointing for all the actors involved, it feels like the days of great TV are long gone

very good composer and loved the show! But let's not forget that strictly speaking James Hannigan is the first composer to turn The Sandman into music for the still ongoing Audible adaptation. And man what a cast that had too!

I remember reading the Elfquest comics from the first issue to the last issue of the Original Quest (I think I was in my first year of Junior High in 7th grade back in 1988, although it might have been my second year of Junior High when I was in 8th grade in 1989) and I was totally hooked on the story from the first issue. And what I remember the most is that in my mind I could ALREADY picture the Elfquest story as an actual movie, because that was how the images from each page of each issue formed in my mind from the beginning with the burning of the Holt at the hands of the humans who I THINK called themselves the 'Children of Gotara' (correct me if I remember the name wrong) ALL the way to the end after Khavi beheaded King Guttlekraw (again, correct me if I remember the name wrong), and the Elves FINALLY retake possession of the 'Palace of the High Ones' after about 10,000 years since it crash-landed on the 'World of Two Moons', and where the High One Timmain took the place of Orolin in the room containing the 'Scroll of Many Colors'. Now since it's been so long, I honestly don't remember EXACTLY, but I THINK it ended with the Wolfriders heading back South through a forest and Skywise returning to the tribe saying: "no windows. I couldn't SEE the stars". But I could also possibly be getting the ending of the Original Series comic book series meshed in with the beginning of the next series which I THINK was called 'Kings of the Broken Wheel', although I could be wrong about that. But my ORIGINAL point was that from the VERY BEGINNING of the Original Series comic, I could already imagine it as a movie. And I personally think that an Elfquest movie, whether live-action OR CGI animation, would be TOTALLY awesome. Just my own personal opinion anyway.
