We're you around for 3.18? Even worse and the struggle continues. Had a buddy locked out completely over their break another time vampire with no teeth. This is absolutely nuts how 13 years of one man's vision can fleece the gaming community. Lost most of subscriber gear trying to just get up and outa the hanger....I've got people wanting to buy in an my advise definitely wait but maybe consider something that works most the time not the other way around

Yes, unfortunately I was there for the 3.18 release. It showed, if anything, how fragile CIGs systems and infrastructure was, and (of course) how it was all the backers fault over what happened. Total shitshow in the history of CIG.

You can move all the small boxes or even guns on to the big cargo lift and it recognise them and store

You couldn't see missions before though, watched a few other streams and some players had a few issues but were generally stable which looks promising.

The missions have been wonky for a week or so... not just me but friends have also had issues. Until today I didn't know why but one of the devs in evo chat explained why this was happening.

Apparently going to prison and being released can leave players without the ability to see or accept legal missions - I think this may be my problem.

I have no sympathy for the people that have spent thousands on this game even £75k they are partly responsible for the massive scope creep of the project, myself I am in fro about £75 since 2013.

Yes 4.0 is very stable right now. It's just that no missions work or are present and nobody is sure if what's missing is intentional or just another series of bugs.

*All of ED's systems are identical.* Generic wastelands. There are plans to create 100+ Star Systems when it is released for "retail." CIG plans to keep expanding the universe indefinitely. I'm pretty confident most if not all the ships can be purchased via in-game credits an the ships are constantly being tweaked/improved via Backer feedback in the forums.

Not one of EDs star systems are identical. EDs star map is quite an accurate rendition of the Milky Way so "no shit" most of the planets are 'generic wastelands'. ED and SC are not comparable in relative terms, but were announced around the same time. The main difference there is that ED has been released for nearly 10 years (16 Defcember 2014) while SC won't be out of alpha phase in the next 10 years. It's your choice to keep paying money to CIG and living the dream. It's a good dream but one you never wake up from while your eyes are firmly closed and blind to the truth and facts. ED stuck very closely to its kickstarter mandate. SC changed from its kickstarter mandate within 2 months of it ending, and is still drifting further from it as more years roll by. It will continue to do so for as long as people keep spending million$ every year on the dream that never ends.

Plus, if there are plans to create 100+ star systems and after +12 years there are currently Stanton and Pyro (which is pending) - how long is it going to take to make the next +98 star systems? LOL In Elite Dangerous there are around 400 BILLION star systems to explore. Just saying. ;)

This is a year old but what I think you can learn from this is a few things. 1. Get to your gun ASAP when feel threatened. You seemed to be up under pressure on choosing how to get in your ship lol 2. You would have been better getting your pilot seat vs your top gun. Those s4's or 5's would have done more damage than he could have dealt to your shields. 3. Probably the more important of all..KeyBinds. It looks like you were using Vjoy versus Relative mode. Sadly while Relative Most is almost ALWAYS unmapped, this could have saved you precious time on lining up this guy and getting shots. Pls if you are still playing today, map this keybind to something. 4. Always lock targets so you can get a lead pip and get accurate shots. Sadly this is the nature of being out in the open world. You can get attacked at any time and one must be ready to defend what they have. This is going to become super important once this game goes live because dying and losing ships is going to be super painful.

TBH my only mistake was believing this was "alpha" (i.e. testing) environment software where people tested and didn't so much "play a game" in order to progress and/or fulfil an agenda. I have found over the years that most people in SC treat it as a bona fide game and not as an alpha test. As for the game going live, I don't think anyone living today will see that event, even if they reach 100 years old.

01:06 Cargo loading looks laborious too many people wanting realism/immersion when they don't understand this sort of gameplay will get old quickly, if you had tractor beamed them all into the middle point then walked and did the same it probably would have potentially been quicker as no walking back and forth, it was painful to watch!

Yep. It was painful to do it as well. I don't know who decides these things at CIG but they'll be redesigning things a few more times before this decade is over. All people need to do is keep spending money while CIG re-invent the wheel and milk the fat cash cow at the same time.

Apologies. Sometimes I forget to include the audio with the video footage. In this instance it doesn't matter as this player is on permenant mute for being overly childish and one of the biggest trolls I've ever encountered in the game. Certainly one to be wary of if you ever join this server. ;)

It was your table of clones in MS Paint that made the difference for me, with all the Gs and Ys etc. Especially in the way you demonstrated how you added them up and the positions that you planted them. No other video I've watched on this topic did it in such an informed and genius way. I didn't opt for the 50/50 method because after learning from you I realised any outcome can be achieved if the right clones were available and planted in the correct place around the center plant. I've been failing for over a month and after watching your video I fully understood the mechanics and found success first time! Amazing job by you Kippa and thank you again.

the animation is when the plant crossbreeds and takes on new genes from the plants which surrounds it.

This JUST happend to me.. I'm hiding out in my ship in deep space. Was able to bed log out. The question I have for you is.. I looted several NPC's outside of the bunker, so my ship has 2 SCU containers inside. Will I loose these items if I go to Klescher Rehabiliation?

When you go to Klescher your ship is respawned as if you claimed it - i.e. a brand new ship (empty of all contents, but any previous ship components you may have installed will still be there).

If you can manage to travel to Grim Hex and dock then you're able to store and/or sell items before going to prison. There's a security terminal at Grim Hex (half way up the stairs from the bottom elevators) where you can hand yourself in afterwards.

@@dwaynemcgleese What I usually do is store any items that i cannot sell at Grim Hex in the inventory there and retrieve them after I've served my prison sentence. Any inventory items cannot be stored on the ship because they will vanish once the ship respawns after leaving Klescher.

One of the best Rust servers I have ever had the pleasure to play on and one I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the game without being killed and losing everything they've worked for every 10 minutes: startingtorust.com Advise you to read the website before logging in. There are some specific rules players need to be aware of. The server still gets players who ignore the rules or intentionally break them, from time to time, but the admins are extremely good at sorting out any infractions. 👍

Just FYI if you remove the missile rack with the missiles on them you can then put the rack back on and put what missiles you want on the ship.

Many people have tried many ways to get rid of the 30009 error. Ultimately, if it's an account problem then it will need to be fixed by CIG and they don't seem to be rushing to do that I'm sorry to say.

I just pick a ship with a cockpit entrance and don't care what they do. I have actually found less of it lately. A couple years ago there were WAY more children playing...which are the main culprits, I think. You can also open the ship for them and let them have it. They can't open the hanger. In the meantime, you grab the ship you really want and go about your way.

Thats what happens when you have bored players. Had this happen to me but they didn't know the ship I pulled out was unfixably glitched and they would have had no fun at all flying it.
