I've felt that look. Seeing beyond, but can't quite wrap your head around something bigger than you. Wishing you could soften the hearts of the hard-hearted so they could experience the beauty they are missing. Don't know for sure where your head's at right now, but keep up your search. I'm pretty sure Mr LB's waaaaaaay softer than his joke came off. he is quite reserved and his sense of humor? parched with desert for dessert. i think the language could easily be a generational gap. when my generation says they hate everyone equally what they usually mean (in my experience) is that they don't take any crap or immediately hop on a bandwagon. it's always been a great way to sarcastically see who is paying attention as well. my brain almost naturally decodes the phrase as "vet all sources." 😉 granted we were a rough crowd....

Unfortunately people use propaganda to control people. Politically, both Parties have let this country down. The MAGA movement is about recognizing this and attempting a common sense approach to minimize this corruption where common folks can live better lives. In terms of the actual citizens, conservatives today are more like liberals used to be decades ago. The Democrat Party looks to take advantage of liberal emotions by providing a lot of lip service but not delivering what they preach. The Republican Party did a similar thing taking advantage of conservatives common sense approach but also delivering lip service and not delivering on what they preach. Common sense people took a chance on Trump and it was generally what we were looking for. We will see what Trump and the MAGA movement delivers for us this time around, but we are already seeing positive results before Trump is officially in office. Many democrats are waking up to the fact that the Democrat Party and mainstream media has played them and are leaving to join the MAGA movement for a better tomorrow. Hopefully both Parties will be reformed by the end of Trump's second term. Both liberals and conservatives have good ideas for this country, the problem are the political crooks who smooth talk us for the votes then ignore us after they've won and work on their agendas for power and money rather than for the voters who put them in office to represent them.

Highly doubt you’ll see this but I’m a conservative and I’ll say I have no hate towards gays or trans people or anyone. There’s a small majority who does tho and those people ruin the good in us because then we’re all demonized. But thanks for the nice comments we are all loving and kind. And it should be like that.

We are all human before Republican or Democrat comes in. It's easy to want to have a target to hate or be mad about or even believe that there is a type of people "out to get you" and there's definitely a crazy amount of media stirring those feelings up in people. Life is hard, no matter who you are and if we the people are to make this country everything we dream about America can be, it needs to start with decency and learning to talk and to really listen to people of different walks of life. We need more of this, and to learn to be ok again with agreeing to disagree, Democrats and Republicans NEED each other to stay balanced. We may not always like this, but it is through different perspectives and experiences that help us grow the most.

My biggest problem is they are made over seas. It might cost them a dollar per pair even with them donating a pair for every pair you buy it's still too expensive. I would rather go to Walmart buy two 12 packs for 40 bucks donate and a 12 pack. You are helping 3 times the people for the same 40 dollars. People in need don't care if they have a 15 dollar pair of socks or a 5 dollar pair of socks.

I don't mind the discussion of gender in school. I do disagree with the ability for adolescent youth to change gender through surgery or through artificial hormone manipulation. No problem at all with an adult doing it, happy people = a happy country. There is so much science around adolescent brain development, so much so that there are laws being looked at to raise the age of "knowing" for a juvenile to 23. The science points to certain areas of the brain that have not fully developed which leads to poor/impulsive decision making. I don't think you can have it both ways. It saddens me that everything has to be a left or right issue. Party blindness is a real thing and politics is now basically supporting your side regardless of how the game is won, it's like supporting your favorite football team. It's frustrating to me that science is only good when it serves somebodies agenda, when it doesn't it's simply ignored or discredited in some way. I'm ok if religion is touched on in school but not for the purpose of indoctrination or two push some agenda. Teachers are human too and with that said, agendas and biases will always be simmering under the surface. I know this was not a well thought out response but I hope folks can really consider what's best for the kids, and not what's best for your political affiliation.

Here is a simple test for you, explain why if the Democrats are not the party of racism and division, why all of their policies have a "loser". im a gay 16 year old girl and im fully for trump, all my friends are kamala supporters so during the election all they talked about was how horrible trump is. I never agreed or disagreed with them because it’s genuinely not my place to tell them who to vote for. However, they saw i followed trump on instagramand started hammering me saying i was homophobic/racist blah blah blah (wen though ive been out as gay since i was 12) and its those type of kamala supporters that make me wanna dislike that whole community.
