@Ian-Threaded
@Ian-Threaded 4 күн бұрын
@@Porridge_bland I also have the Behringer tm300 and love that pedal. I think that is an excellent distortion/dirt pedal. I don’t think you “need” the hm300. I really like a simple chorus like that kmize chorus or that danelectro fab chorus is great. Reverb is the hardest pick. What is your budget for reverb? This ghast echo is around $50 new from aliexpress. If you have extra money to get something more expensive the JHS series 3 reverb is awesome for around $100 and maybe $60 used. If you have a lot of budget the earthquaker devices dispatch master is my favorite and it’s a reverb and delay all in one but it is very expensive at $200 new. This is one of the most dangerous videos you'll ever watch if you remove your cluster to repair it you might set off the pats system if you don't have a $600 scan tool or more or you don't want to go to Ford and give them any words between $300 to $1,000 stay away from this video and do not attempt this repair. System in your car I will say it again you are going to be in a world of hurt trying to figure out what your problem is. This guy got really lucky and I'm glad for him. But the p a t s system means passive anti-theft system if you set it off your computer will have to be reprogrammed or you'll have to send it to a specialist to have it disabled your car will not start if you set it off my pats system now my 2000 Ford Mustang does not start it's not working anytime you're working on a Ford remember you might have to do with that p a t s system then your fu**Ed if your a diyer without a very expensive reprogramming tool and software that is proprietary

Glad that I haven’t had anyone until now come back to the video with issues until now. I wonder why this did not set it off? I got this from a mustang forum and no one noted that risk. @@Ian-Threaded 1st I'm glad it worked for you. Very glad. I purchased the car off marketplace. I think someone replaced the odometer with one that had 157k miles. Why I'll never know. I can't figure it out. I wish I had never touched it because car won't start just turn over. No info from obd to PCM either. All options are very pricy for me. I have no friends that have the higher end reprogrammed tool. I was NOT trying to be a A**hole. I just don't want this to happen to Anyone else. All I did was the repair thank you, but the crank no start. I've been working researching for a month. Only option is Ford or high priced reprogramming tool. I've decided to pull the ecm and send it to a company to have the pats system disabled. $149.00. + Shipping. If anyone reads this and has another idea please help. I'll post update I know this problem is common because of all the stangheads like me just trying to keep there car in goog shape. Simple diy guys and gals. Thank you PS after I did the repair and I got nothing on my cluster except for a seatbelt light I thought maybe I did it wrong or messed something up. I sent it to have a completely repaired got it back from the repair shop and they said someone had tampered with it before which was me last a long time. I'm sure my work was solid, but just to rule it out I did send it to have it repaired and when I got it back plugged it in same thing. That was $120 down the tubes. I'll keep a post and let you know what and how I resolved it.

@Ian-Threaded
@Ian-Threaded Ай бұрын
@@RhoadesGuitars most of the time I like my modulation into dirt into delay into reverb But for more blown out crazy Shoegaze sounds I sometimes like getting a little crazy and starting off with delay and reverbs first in the chain. It really makes a wall of sound. If the delay is last I find the repeats to be more subtle as you would normally hear. With the delay and reverb first they get crazy because the delay repeats and reverb swells are getting distorted themselves by the dirt effects. It is definitely backwards and “not best practice” but I think it can be fun to do and it definitely makes me play differently and come up with different song ideas
