Swingt als de nete . Jack heb ik vaak gehoord o.a in de kaketoe Den Bosch met Red Mitchel. Hans v Oosterhout en Hein van de Geyn zijn ook ongelofelijk goede muzikanten. Jack had een ongelofelijke swing en was liefhebber v Oscar Peterson. Knap wat hij in het leven bereikt heeft en wat hij er uit haalde. Hij noemde mijn moeder Frauke.

Sara is astonishing and she holds the stage, already a diva at 15. I love the way she finishes a stanza by looking at the band almost saying "nailed that!". Superb band too, young and old blended perfectly. A consummate performance by every musician led by the superb Sara.

Love how she looks at the band at the end as if to say "smashed that!" Hasn't she just got a fantastic feel for music, you can just feel how she's enjoying this performance. A talented youngster. Brilliant.

This took 11 days to come up on my feed??? This sounds fantastic and Sara has a very strong voice - the band sound fabulous too - but that's no surprise! So Joan, you should invite Sara to sing this at the Palau and while you're at it, you should invite Michael Bublé to sing a duet with her. I would not be the least bit surprised if he jumped at the chance.. ¿Esto tardó 11 días en aparecer en mi feed? Sara maakt deel uit van de jeugdgroep van de organisatie Jazz750 uit Roosendaal. We organiseren jazzsessies en werken met jonge musici. Op 13 november 2022 hebben we een onvergetelijk concert georganiseerd in samenwerking met de Sant Andreu Jazzband uit Barcelona, onder leiding van Joan Chamorro, en met de gerenommeerde saxofonist Scott Hamilton. Dit concert markeerde de afsluiting van een gedenkwaardig werkweekend voor ons als organisatie en uiteraard voor onze jonge musici. Op ons kanaal vind je een 12 tal videoregistraties van dit concert. Ton van de Geijn, musical director jazz750 Sara is a member of the youth group of the organization Jazz750 from Roosendaal. We organize jazz sessions and work with young musicians. On November 13, 2022, we hosted an unforgettable concert in collaboration with the Sant Andreu Jazzband from Barcelona, led by Joan Chamorro, and featuring the renowned saxophonist Scott Hamilton. This concert marked the conclusion of a memorable work weekend for our organization and, of course, for our young musicians. On our channel, you can find a dozen video recordings of this concert. Wowza, that is seriously impressive! I've seen several videos with Sara singing in them, but this is by far the best. And to think she's only 15 years old - that is just simply amazing. Oh, and the band was great, too. 🙂

From Australia, I am Joan Chamorro's greatest admirer. The way in which he develops his students is phenominal. His capacity to instil a love of great jazz standards is inspiring. Also, his recognition of the quality of the music written in the early part of the last century will resonate with most jazz lovers. Each new recording is a treasure, and I love to see and hear each performer develop playing and singing talents. Well done, sir!
