I keep forgetting how mousetraps work Its kinda nuts how interesting the way it works is. So many different moving parts making it oh so sensitive for any movement but can stay in place as long as its not being touched I guess whats hard to understand is how the yellow pad is holding at that angle when the pressure from the bar is trying to push up

A very important instruction is missing from this video: When cutting, the crown needs to be bottom-side up. Otherwise the mitre is going to be wrong

Bruh I set some traps with peanut butter, and "super mouse" literally somehow ate that peanut butter without getting trapped TWICE! Took the third one to get him good. Lol

If you have a mouse, they have found a way inside your house. Areas beneath sinks are prime infestation areas. The electrical box outside the house is a prime area to inspect. So are bushy areas close to your home. Look for mice turds inside and set traps where the turds are found. NOTE: the go-to material for sealing holes inside/outside of your home is that same spray-plastic that pocket windows are sealed into homes with. it hardens up and makes the hole disappear.

On the yellow plastic plate there is a F (firm) and an S (sensitive) setting to place the trip rod. My pest control guy says to push the bait into the little molded yellow box, just above the trip rod. I've got two mice so far.

If only it was obvious there was a firm and sensitive side.

I’m a mechanic of 35 years. These pieces of shit don’t stay set for nothing. One out of the pack works. Trash. Don’t waste your money. Snapped my finger twice. Got one set, few min later I hear it snap off by itself. Junk.

I bought a pack of D'con no touch/no see traps. They have been out for a week. The mouse wouldn't touch them. I set out this old style, and within 30 minutes, i caught him. They are a bit touchy, though.

JT Mechanical inc. My customer like this really easy and fast setup. I have setup a few of these now and got nothing but good reviews. I like this product and I will be using it a whole lot more. We or located in California where we have very strict watering days. This helps out all of my elderly folks I work for. Thanks again to whoever put this kit together.👍

Thanks for leaving out to set the starting point for all the subsequent adjustments! How do you set the right side stop/beginning rotation position? A real world outdoor video would be a major improvement in the presentation.

The jaw pads are its weakness. They get crumbly and break apart over time. But there is a man on Etsy who sells replacement jaw pads he created with his son. They’re far better than the originals and look like they’re built to last.

I caught 4 mice in 2 days using these snap traps, which were invented in the 19th century I believe. You really can't improve much on a good initial design.
