Hey brotha, doing this install for my homeboy, im havin issues with the fuel basket compressing all the way when putting the basket back in, any ideas?

Sounds like something could be binding up. I would check the filter on the pump to make sure that it’s not hitting anything. Also, maybe the bottom of the basket is on reversed. Not sure if it’s direction or not but that could be a thing as well. Hope this helps

Yes and there is also one behind the driver seat as well. They both will have the same type of sensor that you can clean and it should help out with the misreading fuel gauge.

fire homie. liking the content so far. i recently purchased a 07z solar orange im lovin it . i been experiencing an axle ticking noise when turning at low speed and was wondering in the 3 years of your ownership, have you delt with this issue at all? and if so is there a way to fix it without replacing the axle?

Thanks I really appreciate that! So I would say with your axle you could check axle boots. They could be low on grease. It would probably just be better to replace the axles when you get the chance.

Just bought a 2003 track edition and the bumper was ass on the 2.5 hour drive home... literally hanging by a prayer. I need a new one asap and repaint it pearl white. The car has a half ass paint job so matching that half ass paint job I assume it'll be difficult. Also, can you please watch the short I just posted? Is asking about some play my clutch have, It'll be great having another Z owner tell me if its normal stuff or if something is wrong.

I know this videos pretty old but I’m recently considering the throttle body upgrade. But my question is, how did you take off those little coolant ports on the throttle body? You show them being removed but you didn’t explain how you did it in the video 😭 3:47

To remove the coolant ports you could go about it a couple different ways, you could try to pull them out but sometimes this is pretty difficult. The next option which I did recently was to use a grinder and carefully cut the ports off flush. I hope this helps out

Yes the tune does have a flame map so it allows the flames. Also, I’m running test pipes. Factory cats won’t work too well with this lol

I will say that my original harness which I believe I bought from amazon was the incorrect harness. The one I got from eBay did work perfectly.

I don’t remember the exact size but I took the factory bolt that was in the original shock and matched it with hardware from Ace hardware.

That was a little difficult but you could hold the house and put a bolt through. After the bolt is through then put the gasket on. The bolt would hold it in place while you bolt the house onto the block.

Here's a great story. I did the procedure as presented. When i pressed the button on my new key fobs, the blinkers flashed to show they were programmed. But, neither one worked. As a bonus, my original working key fob no longer works. So, I got that going for me.

So I've been running these lights original for 4 years. Haven't had a problem with them lasting. But I don't run em daytime *switch on* as to make sure they last though. Car looks sharp.

I’m not sure exactly how you would disconnect it from the car. Only thing I could really think of is to use a different key fob and program that one to the car.

Im debating between the z1 ecutek or and uprev tune from and tuner. But im leading towards the uprev. Dont get me wrong. z1 did a beautiful job on this. Also your car looks beautiful bro

Thanks I really appreciate the support 💯. So to me I would say it honestly depends on what your goals are. If you are staying NA then I would say UpRev will be fine. If you plan on boosting then I would lean more towards EcuTek. I heard that has way more options when it comes to boosted applications. If EcuTek would’ve been around when I originally purchased my tune I would’ve gone with it. Both platforms are good.

I feel like you would be happy either route. Although I went with Z1 for this option for the mail in tune, when I do my next tune I plan on going with Moncef and Admin Tuning. No disrespect to Z1 at all, but I’ve seen nothing but great work from Moncef. Plus he does remote tuning for boosted applications which is what I’m working towards. When I lock my doors from the inside with my driver side lock buttons my diver side lock has never worked I have to manually set it would that make a difference to not let me program when you unlock and unlock procedure to program the key

Hmmm that’s a good question. It might not let you do the programming since the electric motor isn’t working for the lock. I’m not sure if the bcm would need to see that input for the procedure to start.
