Flick seems to have a completely different persona in the commentating booth than talking about her love for big waves, would love to see her a lil more relaxed and herself. That being said, really love and appreciate her and Lauras work in the booth and for the tour, (who must be tough bosses...) nonetheless! Great work Laura, big fan!

I've been following Laura for quite a while now - she absolutely charges ! Maybe my all time favorite female surfer. Love what she did at Cloudbreak recently and I can't wait to see the clips from Shippies that just took place... YOU GO GIRL !!

❤ what?! and on an old skool single fin?and doing it like that? respect. these females are so fierce. As eluded to, they face the same inherent challenges, and the same social / lineup dynamics as anyone who paddles out, but then they have the added experience of going into territory that already challenges and often intimidates each surfer, and being a minority with all its prejudices and biases, and all that that means. seriously, respect. also, cheers for the dads and moms and brothers and sisters and family members and friends that encourage and support these females to go out there and pursue their objectives and ambitions, and excel while doing so :)
