They ignore the wide range of harmful to petty lies/bonkers rhetoric coming from the ex-President: - Claimed he won 2020, he didn’t, he lied about it constantly, pressured Pence to not certify the election, then turned the crown into frenzy based on a total lie from an insecure man who just didn’t get his way - Said he lowered insulin costs to $35/month (Biden did this) - Said you need an ID to buy a loaf of bread - Said our soldiers took over the airports from the British - seriously - Claimed the stock market would plummed if Biden won (it hit record heights under Biden- can 1 Trump supporter even admit that Trump was wrong about this - nope not a single one) - Sent fake electors to several states to just vote against the will of the people - Mocked McCain and dishonored all other POWs by preferring soldiers who “weren’t captured” - Sold the Bible for personal profit - Praises insane dictators constantly - 2022 said he should get all the credit if republicans win and take no blame if they lose - Claims his non-sequiturs impress scholars - Passed a tax bill that disproportionately favored the top 1% of income earners. Taxes went up for many middle class earners was Taxable income went up with the limitation of the SALT deduction - Said he has been to Gaza - He hasn’t - he just made this up. - Claimed he was in a near helicopter crash with the Ex SF Mayor who was bad mouthing Kamala which never happened - “father of IVF” - Compared Jan 6th rioters to those held in Japanese internment camps - Blamed Zelensky for starting war - Clearly has no idea how tariffs work - Brought prominent 9/11 denier Laura Loomer to a sacred ground zero ceremony Now, Kamala Harris has changed her views, shifted positions, and has also lied. There are even policies where I agree with conservatives over liberals. Her answers at times have been very weak. But the degree and frequency of this is not comparable to this lying narcissist. Trumpism has largely replaced conservativism and it’s frustrating - and there is a very good chance he will win.
