So having respect for all people is not based on earning it it’s rather based on age alone. Interesting

Kiosks are everywhere in Korea, especially when you’re ordering food or coffee. It’s essential to use these machines for a seamless experience. Surprisingly, even big franchises often lack English translations on their kiosks. I’ll let you know the essential steps and vocabulary you need. Let’s say you want to get some iced latte in 메가커피. 1. Touch the screen to start. You can see categories on the top, such as 커피 (coffee), 디카페인 (decaf), 음료 (beverage), 티 (tea), 푸드 (food), etc. 2. Click the 커피 (coffee) category button. You can see the categories are changed to 에스프레소 (espresso), 라떼 (latte), 콜드브루 (cold brew). 3. Click the 라떼 (latte) category button. And then you can see lots of coffee menu added milk. In this case, you also can choose the menu depending on the picture :) 4. For now, click the (ICE)카페라떼 button, which means ice cafe latte. Then you can see the optional menu, like an extra shot, adding sugar, oat milk, etc. It really depends on the cafe brands, but you can easily guess from the picture. 5. Click the 주문담기 (add to cart) button. You can see the total price on this page. 6. Click the 결제하기 (pay) button. 7. The screen will ask you for here (먹고가기) or to go (테이크아웃). Click as per your preference. 8. Click the 카드결제 (credit card) button; this button will have the card image. 9. If you see the dial pad, it might be for membership, so click the (X) button or 아니요 (no) button. 10. Insert your card into the kiosk. Whoa! That’s it. Enjoy your drink☕️🧋🍵🤍 #travelkorea #koreatravel #kiosk #koreankims

Let's learn the basic Korean grammar difference between '-이' and '-가'. 이/가 is subject particle. If the word has final consonant at the end, 이 is added. Otherwise the word has no final consonant, 가 is added. In today's video, you will see two examples "The house is big." and "The cat is coming." The word '집🏠,' which means 'house,' has 'ㅂ' as a final consonant. In this case, you should add '-이.' 👉 The house is big - 집이 크다. On the other hand, '고양이🐈,' which means 'cat,' has no final consonant. In this case, you should add '-가.' 👉 The cat is coming - 고양이가 오다.

How to learn Korean by yourself ⤵️ These are the ways that help in your Korean learning journey. As a language teacher, I recommend this method and have seen lots of improvement from my students. Here’s exactly how I did it. ▶️ Start with Hangeul (alphabet) if you haven’t learned it yet. ▶️ Utilize TOPIK vocabulary for practice. Learn a few new words daily and regularly review older ones. If you need the TOPIK I vocabulary list, leave a comment with “TOPIK,” and I’ll send you a basic noun list. (Actually, I’m making shorts with those vocab now! 😊) ▶️ For intermediate learners, categorize and summarize Korean grammar structure on one A4 page. This way, you can easily grasp the entire principles at a glance. Simply writing along the table of contents of the grammar book will also help in reviewing. ▶️ Listen to Korean podcasts and K-dramas - try to understand the context first. If you have a favorite drama series, watch it again with “Korean” subtitles and write down the expression you want to learn and enjoy studying with them. ▶️ For speaking practice, pick one sentence that you like and give it a go! Record your voice and try to match it with the original. Try this again as much as you can until it sounds similar to the original one. It would be better to start speaking practice with something easier than your current Korean level. Hope that helps🤍
