It seems that the Orthodox Church follows the old traditions that was prevalent during the time of Jesus Christ and also the first church established much before the Catholic church or Protestant church.

Thats funny because today i was reading 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 from the New King James Version (NKJV): 12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free-and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. I took that as no matter what denomination you are, if you have the core belief of jesus, you are part of that ono church. But then 1 Corinthians 1:10 poped up in my head. from the New King James Version (NKJV): 10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. This verse tells me that there should not be any denominations. Just one church because of these verses

Orthodox and Catholic is the same theologically speaking but Protestants are closer to non-Christians as their theological variations are too many to count so who knows.

I am Orthodox. But we all must not make Religion a war. Like Russia and Ukraine. We all have believe in 1 God. We all are to believe in our own ways and not make it revenge to 1 another. A preist once told me. Make your own church in your closet. Say the prayers in there and to remember the Jesus prayers.

I am ex catholic. I started reading Bible just 14 years ago ( I am 58 old ) , it's better to say I started to study it. In that period I met one Jehova's witnes, and I knew ,or better I tought, that they know Bible, so I started talking with him. He came in my house, and for some times I went to their hall of kingdom, but soon I saw that teaching of JS is false, and I stoped to go there. But I continued with study and I saw that teaching of catholic church is diferent with many things in the Bible. So I started to look for church which is more close with Bible, and after some denominations in my town, I went to the evangelic lutheran church. Here I found that evangelical teachings are close with my opinion. I have friends in many denominations, some time we talking about faith,about Bible... I can say that reding Bible was the decisive point that led to my leaving the Catholic Church. I respect everybody's faith, if it isn't radical and if somebody does not impose his opinion. Talking about faith-yes, fighting and cursing others because diferent wievs and opinions-no.

Not entirely accurate! The Roman Catholic Church does not trace its roots back to the first century with Peter as its leader. How’s that even possible? Catholicism began 300 years after the cross. Peter had been dead (in the flesh) for At least 250 years. Peter never knew what a pope was. There was no such thing as a catholic. The origins of Roman Catholicism date back to Constantine and not a day before.

Regarding unification between the Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches, I don't see a chance of that anytime soon. The EOC will never accept the Filoque, papal supremacy, purgatory, Immaculate Conception, and numerous other changes the RCC made after the Great Schism in 1054 AD. Regarding the 30,000 Protestant denominations, neither Orthodoxy, nor Catholicism can reconcile with the hodgepodge of theologies and beliefs of all of those Protestant denominations. Just as an FYI, the EOC and RCC are NOT in communion with each other. We Orthodox Christians are NOT allowed to take the Eucharist in the RCC, nor any non-Eastern Orthodox Church, for that matter.

The catholic church is the corruption of Christianity. There is only one who holds the keys to heaven and they turned it into a corporation. They seem to forget what made Jesus kick out those making $ off the church in the 1st place.

Let us focus on God worship and and follow teachings of Christ ...the gospel and what we have of the teachings of the few apostles in epistles. It's only following teachings of Jesus. I am Catholic and saddened about everything happening at the Vatican over the years….I also think celibacy in priests has caused problems. So honestly, I’m not sure anyone has gotten it right yet.
