Noticed though that if you have automations set up to move items to specified groups base on status updates, you can't change the status then add a comment to that Status. The item will move to a different group before you can add the comment. Has anyone else seen this or have a workaround?

Hi! Thanks for your comment. It depends on which exact multi level approvals you are looking to do. But yes, there are a few alternatives on how to achieve this. Alternative 1: Restrict column edit for the status column and only allow the manager/s or executive/s to be the ones to change the status. This will ensure that not any non-authorized member of the team changes the project status. Alternative 2: Add a people column with the manager assigned and then change your board permission settings to "Only edit items or subitems that users are assigned to". Hope this helped.
