Honestly, just leave that scope for sniper rifles/dmrs. If you plan on running a higher magnification scope on your infantry rifle, use the raider II lpvo, magnification can go up to 6x, which will cover most ranges you would need, while also being able to go 1x magnification for cqc application.

From my experience, I found that nearby enemies would be immediately alerted if I used an unsilenced gun, but that's for the case of close combat. I guess I use suppressors just for peace of mind.

Unsuppressed shots will alert enemies close by and will make npcs in the general area in guard mode and look where the shot came from (aka your location). You can still remain in stealth, but it will be harder as enemies will now have eyes in your area and their detection rate is faster. It's better if you use a Suppressed weapon if you plan on maintaining stealth.

It's possible, but the 12x scope on anything that isn't a dmr or sniper rifle is over kill. I advise using the raider 2 lpvo as it can have a 6x magnification while also being able to go back down to 1x for cqc applications.

For me personally (because obviously there is no "best" gun), I really love using the FAMAS AR for its fire rate and Hecate II and G22A2 SR for its range.

@chaseklansek prior to the GEN4 update, the MPC 2.0 Recon was its own separate vest but now it seems to have been removed. I’m of course not a developer so I can’t tell you if the vest is going to return or not.
