Thank you!!! Wouldn’t have been able to do this with just the paper instructions! Tip - make sure safety lock off and mattress on top before closing!

Shockingly bad. Supplied the wrong brackets on the bed sides - one left and one right per side which means that only one of them works and you can't swap them over..... Oh and in these instructions they've got the bed headboard the wrong way around in the first stage which they magically correct later. The handle like parts and the brackets have also changed design which doesn't match the video or instructions provided. Poo show.

For the instruction paper I need a crystal ball, not really an instruction and I have built a lot of furniture in the past. The video is disappointing to say at least! No noise, voice, talking. Guy is building up without telling what he is doing, what size of screws he is using. With a pack of different sizes, this is a big problem! Most of the time he has his hand in front, so I can't even see what he is doing. It's like watching a professional building something up! This doesn't help if you don't know what to do next! I guess next time I will buy at Ikea again, because at least the instruction papers are useful! I am now building up the bed for some time because it became a really bad and difficult project for me!

I got a ottoman bed from DFS the gas lift but don’t go down . And the instructions are never 1000% clear . ANY HELP WITH THE GAS LIFT if not I can’t close so mattress won’t go on?

Anyone know how to assemble the Appleby single bed. Stuck on attaching middle bone 8 and 7 to middle panel 6. There are no specific measurements to determine exactly how far from the edge

absolutely dreadful. instructions nor video have measurements of each part so we can’t tell if we’ve been sent the wrong size side frame rails or centre support rail because they absolutely do not match up or are able to be screwed in the way this video or the instruction manual shows

Those mattresses don’t have springs. They 100% made of some foam and fabrics.

Birlea should be ashamed of themselves sending out a bed to customers with only this crappy video clip and the pathetic excuse for written assembly instructions they give you. About as much use as a chocolate tea port. If I could I’d have sent the bed back. I had to waste so much time trying to decipher the instructions. At the very least some close ups and a voiceover would make this slightly less useless.

Paying nearly £200 really regret it now. Nightmare to put it together lots of gaps are missing. We had to drill ourselves. Manual is very misleading. Wouldn't buy again. Not the first assembly but the worst...

Mine wont go down either even with lock off. The two hydraulic poles are acting as locks. I don't want to apply too much pressure to push down in case something breaks. When the hydraulic parts are attached, the lock is very hard to take off/put on. Unsure how to fix this. Any advice?

Just fixed it. Put the mattress on, then push the mattress down at both sides where the hydraulic pistons are (requires two people) as explained here kzbin.info/www/bejne/gouklmeYg6-jl5Ysi=fm-Grf5SAb660-pE

Really bad instructions (booklet), and some steps are in the wrong order! They also need to pre-drill the top of the doors to fit the top rollers, (and pre-drill other panels).
