Just got my Trak kayak. It assembles quite easily. The quality is superb. I am anxious to paddle it and compare it to other fiberglass kayaks.

John, thank you for sharing all of your thoughts with so many. I grew up watching Dukes of Hazard. Named a puppy Rosco peeco train, and had my little girl crush on you and Tom. I’m 52 and of course we have all grown up and listening to you and agreeing with your thoughts and opinions on life. I’m terribly sorry for your loss of your beautiful wife. Only have to do set up once if you’re using like a regular kayak, travels well on my roof rack set up. I have several inflatables, I’m 6’3” 220 lbs so rigidity is a problem, and takes longer to set up than my Trak. Plus, inflatable is much more limited, no rolls/sculling/limited bracing, no rock gardens, limited surfing; done most of those in a Trak (RG this summer in Maine, yeehah).

I would really like a longer video that shows the whole process of putting the boat together. No speeding up, nothing left out. No flashy music and marketing BS. I was considering ordering the Trak 2.0, but I‘m always wondering if you have something to hide. 🤷♂️ So I guess I‘m gonna wait for independent reviews of the final product.
