If someone threw used toilet paper in, how does that get removed/decontaminated/processed?

It honestly saddens me that people don't sorry their recycling into diff bins. The process would be so much faster and easier if people would just sort them into bins. I sort mine by paper, and by plastic/glass. I actuslly talked to the neighborhood collector and he said my house is nice and easy he just puts each of my bins into each side of the truck. He told me some people will have a plastic bag filled with containers and paper and he has to put it into a different spot to be manually sorted. Just sad how lazy some people are.

Some cities or counties, such as mine, have single stream recycling. Everything is picked up together and sorted at the Materials Recovery Facility (sorting plant.) This varies with each city and county.

Hopefully thier processes for paper recycling is franchised to other nations. It'll create proper standards in other nations who use paper or paper products.

In Belgium, we put plastics and paper into different bins, and they are collected separately as well. Probably not perfect, but it still reduces the manual labor significantly.

I believe, that some of the process can be remove if people could separate plastic, alumin, and others

One thing that came to mind - why isn't the cardboard going straight onto the conveyor line? Why does it have to have an extra heavy machinery step?!

Whilst I vehemently disagree with Mr Pratt on a number of issues, I think it sounds awesome that he is committed to recycling. He is right in taking that route. I hope he continues to explore this path for all of our benefit In terms of environmental protection👏👏

Mr. Pratt is an example of a person who counted his blessings from his father's success and carried it to another level. Strange how he became friends with TRUMP, the polar opposite of failure. Shaking my head.

Anthony Pratt must NEVER again travel to Europe or to the U.S. Let the bum hop around with his wallabies.

Apparently his mother’s pregnancy was problematic so Mr Pratt was delivered through his mothers arse, hence his ‘frighten the kids look’.

I'm a proud Pratt employee. I work at the Wapakoneta Ohio plant. We make & shop corrugated packages. I love working for Pratt. They take care of their employees. I've never worked for a better company & I'm 62, so that's saying something lol.

I work for Pratt Industries, I only see the converting side where the rolls are turned into corrugated boxes. Then I load them all into semi trailers for different companies. Proctor & Gamble being probably our biggest customer. Pratt is an amazing company to work for. I couldn't be happier with my job. I'm a forklift operator & love it. 🇺🇸

Since this video was made, Pratt also built a new corrugated plant here in Ohio, Wapakoneta to be exact. The plant has been there 3 yrs now. I was hired by Pratt as a shipping forklift operator. This is hands down the best company I have ever worked for. They take well care of their employees. Thank you Pratt

If I donate my papers that are ripped on the process of throwing will they still accept it to make recycled papers?
@JosephKarsch-ym6cl3 ай бұрын
I would assume so. I remember reading that all pieces of paper the size of a sticky note or larger will make it. (Anything smaller gets missed by the machines and ends up as waste).
