Thank you so much 🤩 It's important to remember that not all top tier decks end on having an omni negate, so don't let that idea make you think Pure PK is weak. That's why you use IP Masquerena and F0. A Link monster summoned using IP Masquerena as material can't be destroyed by card effects, and F0 is already indestructible, so a single Raigeki isn’t issue. Fog Blade is your main interruption, and the monster you summon is just a bonus. I also like to Pure PK because it’s less affected by DRNM and Droplet. Yes, the monster you have will get negated, but the beauty is that you have Fog Blade, and you will naturally draw more staples to support your board, unlike the Pile where you put all the resources into making a big board (you still also have Fog Blade but you get the idea, other resources spent just get negated by those cards) Personally, I prefer running more hand traps rather than adding another engine or making it a pile. This approach lets me support my PK board with hand traps and staples, as I can draw them more often compared to pile PK that have a few staples. This makes my deck less reliant on creating a big board. I can still interrupt my opponent effectively with hand traps, even if my board is standard or if Maxx C resolves and I can’t out it. Hand traps in my hand can disrupt my opponent even without executing a combo, in Pile PK since you have more combo pieces card that will do combos, you will commit doing combo or just pass a turn. Pile PK is a great deck and I play it too, it can generate a strong board. However, Pure PK is also strong, even though it might not create as powerful a board as Pile PK. It excels in having more hand traps and staples. Sorry for too many words and explanation, I just love explaining the strengths of Pure PK.😁

Thank you for the suggestion, but I always prefer more hand traps than adding more/another engine, if I would play Centurion, I will play Centurion along with like 12+ handtraps as I naturally want to draw more hand traps/staples 😊

Playing a lot of hand traps is why SS is as powerful as it is. It has easy access to starters with quick lines to boss monsters, allowing you to tech so many HTs and flair.

Currently, our deck with Serziel pop effect is a bad effect/matchup against Yubel matchup. However, having Cicada's monster negate and Zerrziel's pop effect on Nightmare Pain is valuable. While it's not the best deck for competitive play, it's still playable and manageable. We also have a lot of hand traps and staples, which is one of our main strengths. While in Centurion we really have good matchup- Serziel Pop effect is really good in this matchup, cause you can pop Primera or Pop the special summon Trudea that will set itself in the backrow.

This would be a game changer if the skill also provided a temporary token on the first turn. This would allow the Phantasm Spiral Trap Cards to be used even in turn 0, making the deck more competitive and potentially problematic. Currently, the skill doesn’t support the deck effectively because you need a token to use the Phantasm Spiral Trap Cards. Additionally, once you draw Pacifis, you will replace the default UMI with it, rendering the skill irrelevant for the strategy.

Yes, you can play the deck with only 1 Gorgon, I just use to run 2 since I can play 2, but the other copy of Gorgon never came up :), prioritize on purchasing good rank 3 targets if you have budget and handtraps :)

Thank you so much for the words. I don't like the adventure engine for PK since it adds garnet to the deck. PK doesn't have garnet; even if you draw gloves or wings, it is still a good discard fodder. Additionally, an OCG mindset, I prefer more handtraps and staples over running another engine, PK on its own can generate a strong board; adding Adventure just gives more gas in the build. More handtraps, imo much better. I'm comfortable going 1st or 2nd, and Maxx C resolving is still a problem but not when in Gas build. Since I have a higher chance that I also draw 2 handtraps, which equates to 2 interruptions, I can still stop their play even I didn't setup my board. Unlike if I run Adventure, it can make my board stronger, but if I get Maxx C, that's like saying goodbye or I need to draw Maxx C outs.

Yes, but Evil Eye doesn't have problem with Nibiru, since you only summon 4x, unless you play Deviser package. Horus Evil Eye is good, it got to the top 8 in the OCG China big event with 300+ players. Horus can also dump Gorgonio using Imsety or King Sarco. Evil Eye Horus is good, but Evil Eye Pure is also good. Evil Eye with Horus or without Horus is viable and can top events, it's always player preference.

@@xarzuzygo3700 yeah pure bricked a lot but allow you to play a lot of non engine to counter meta. i prefer the horus package so far since it usually bait the ash or maxx c which usually allow me to know which line i can play into.

Yeah, bro I’m liking the Horus package a lot too. I think the boards are a little better than pure. I’ve been trying to find videos on the deck but no one has any videos of it. I get that it’s likely because Evil Eye is just not very meta though.

​@@dirtysweatshirt I didn't brick in pure a lot, unless I'm unlucky on that day. If you build pure right, it doesn't brick that much, unless really unlucky. You have acknowledged that EE does have 9 cards, that is a 1 card combo. It's kind of surprising that you bricked too much as what I interpret to your statement. Evil Eye Pure doesn't have a problem with Maxx C too, you can still end on 3 interruptions, that's the beauty about it. Horus Evil Eye has more problems with Maxx C, since if you get Maxx C and you dump your cards for Horus, you will not take advantage of Horus as you might not commit to special summoning them since under Maxx C, unlike pure, you have a higher chance that you draw handtraps. Evil Eye: 2-3 interruptions + 1-2 handtraps is a lot of interruptions :) Anyway, good luck with your duels 😁
