Hi @jimgiraffe5253. My usual recording setup wasn't available on this occasion and I did try using the Noise Reduction tool in DR to reduce the echo, which it did a little, but then when other adjustments were made, the narration then sounded underwatery unfortunately; same when I tried editing with Audacity. I'm looking into some other ways to try to avoid this problem again in future. Thank you for your feedback.

Hi @NigelBaines. Just to clarify, did you mean to relocate the media files that are currently used in your project file before you render? You can do this manually but then the clip thumbnails in your Media Pool will all turn red as you will need to select all of these, right-click and choose Relink Selected Clips, as DR won't recognise where you have moved these to yet. In the Relink window that appears, you will then have to select the new directory where these files are stored and you should then see the thumbnails return to normal. If it's just the cache files, as long as there is free space in your selected directory for these, it shouldn't be a problem if you change the location for these, but I would also recommend rendering what you have done so far, particularly as you are using external storage, to ensure that you have a media file saved as a preacaution. Hope that helps.

@@C0ntiChannel Thanks so much for the detailed and helpful reply. The render cache which was choking up my computer was rather large and I was hoping I could move the render cache and avoid having to re-render the project. But, I believe that is not possible.

Hi @VTClips_PreshaOrion. Thank you for the comment. Could you please confirm that the node that you're referring to is shown at 1.56 of this tutorial? I've checked in DaVinci Resolve 19 and the node is still available within Fusion.

@@C0ntiChannel I saw two nodes in my fusion page, sGrid and another grid when I searched. Neither one had the parameters that you modified. I may be wrong, but I opened every menu I could in the inspector for both nodes and could not figure out how to recreate a grid in the fusion page without those settings

@VTClips_PreshaOrion I've tried seeing if a Grid effect may be viewable on my local storage, but I can't find a list of nodes from my Effects Library in my File Explorer window. In my Select Tool window in Fusion, I have Grid, Grid Warp and sGrid display when I go to search for 'Grid'. I'm not sure if selecting 'Workspace' and 'Reset UI Layout' from your toolbar might help for you, but I'm not able to see how the Effects Library can be manually edited by a DR user. If I find a solution to this, I will respond and also post another tutorial about this.

@@C0ntiChannel I just replicated my process and found my error. Fusion page, shift space, type in grid. There are three. the top one was just Grid, and when I click on it with my mouse it refuses to highlight. When I used the arrow keys it highlighted and spawned, so I was wrong. Thank you so much for looking into this, I'm still trying to find my way around DaVinci and not being able to mouse click something in a menu (but I can click warp grid and sgrid and they spawn right away) is a quirk I'm not familiar with before today.

I'm glad that you managed to solve your problem in the end (I have three Grid nodes too), although it does leave me intrigued to find out if there's a way to manipulate the Effects Library in some way in case some nodes mysteriously disappear in future. Hi @sherrypubgm7716. The timer created inside the Fusion Composition clip in this tutorial contains a transparent surrounding. At 6.10 of the tutorial, there is a Solid Color edit on track 1, which contains the blue shade presented in the background behind my timer. You can replace this Solid Color edit with a video clip or image file, for example, which will be visible behind the timer. Hope that helps.

Hi @BadmiGame. You can't export transparent files from DaVinci Resolve so that these can be used in other applications. The viewer background settings in this tutorial are for usage in project files within this software only.
