I own both - I use the Magic mouse almost exclusively. The MX is in a drawer. You're supposed to use the MM by just guiding it mostly by your fingertips at the top - that's it. Trying to cup it in your palm like every other mouse will lead to discomfort quickly. And I don't get the constant moaning on the port. They designed it to be exclusively used as a wireless mouse. Not a wired mouse where you can leave it plugged in. The charge lasts forever - it rarely ever needs charging so you hardly ever deal with the port anyway.

The MX master has zero touch ability - its just bigger. The multi-touch functionality on the MM is unmatched. The problem most have with the MM is that they try too hard to use it like every other mouse. You're not supposed to use it to fill your hands, its to be guided with your fingertips mostly. Once you make that adjustment (and stop trying to squeeze or hug it), the cramping will come to a stop. And the charging port is fine where it is - the charge lasts forever so dealing with the port at the bottom is rare.

The MX Master 3 is seriously flawed if using only with an iPad. The iPad cannot utilize (download) the software that the MX Master 3 has. Only a MAC can use the software. So, what does that mean? It means that many of the special functions of the MX Master 3 cannot be utilized at all on an iPad. You ONLY have basic mouse functions. I can’t even use the right click button! For a cost of that much $$, I want full functionality, not partial! Also, the scrolling of the MX Master 3 on an IPad Pro (2024) is horrendous! Very choppy, and definitely not fluid. I’m sure if you use it on a MAC and can download the mouse software, it would be much better. I’m sending my MX Master 3 back to Amazon. I need a better solution for my iPad Pro (2024).

The mx master 3 has only two issues: 1. The software sometimes doesn't work right or breaks. 2. The rubber grip turns sticky inside a year and there is no fix. And I shower every single night. I keep my gear clean and wipe things down almost daily. I can't help but think Logi did this on purpose to keep people buying the new model. Apple Trackpad? Bought the Space Grey one from 2019 and it's 2024 and it still looks new lol. And works like new too. HMMMM.

Spilt coffee on mine which made the delete key stick/too soft. Accidentally broke it trying to fix it. Tried to replace it with two of the best logi keyboards and I returned them and ordered a new Magic Keyboard again. They’re just that good and I didn’t realize how good until I needed to use other keyboards after I’d been using it. Sure there’s no backlighting which is its only flaw but I’d rather just have a desk light on low than a keyboard that needs to be recharged every 10 days like a logi
