Both RNC and DNC are political parties. After a practice trademark search, I discovered the RNC has a registered word trademark, but the DNC (very politically distinctive) has nothing in any class. Why is that?

Thank you for doing this video. It is very helpful! I do have a question that I am hopeful you can answer...when submitting an application (using free form text option) and only wanting to submit for "class 21" (for example) as a whole....and you are not 100% sure what your exact products will be...what should you input in the text box in that section? As I understand it, you can get more specific later in the process but it is unclear what to put in that box in the meantime. I hope that makes sense.

I am starting now another business which has nothing to do with my Engineering business, a totally other area. Hi Liz In the case of this clause of Indemnification I am not holding the state to account is that correct. Upon receipt of funds (either ACH or negotiation of check) for payment of this claim, you are certifying that your claim is valid and just, that all statements herein are true and correct, and that you will indemnify and hold harmless the State, its officers and employees, from any other valid claim to the property.

I want to change ca llc to c corp. Should I choose articles of incorporation with a statement of conversion - ca corporation general stock. It shows from a non-qualified out-of-state entity. I just want to make sure this is correct. Can I leave LLC name when I covert to c corp? And I think the easy way to do it , just fill form 8832 to change it.

I live in California and form an LLC in Wyoming. Registering as a foreign LLC in California will disclose the member/manager names in the LLC-12. That defeats the WY LLC anonymity. Is there any other way to protect anonymity.

I created a sole member llc in Montana state in 2023, I got EIN, and I opened a bank account with EIN and connected it with my Amazon Seller Account. To open the bank account, I have transferred only $30, there is not any Transaction with that bank account, and my Amazon seller account has not any products yet. Do I need to file any Form to cancel my EIN, or is just sending a letter enough?

I applied for a design mark with the name of my company included under my logo. Do you know if it is possible to change a mark from a logo with words to standard character mark? Elizabeth, Thank you for your passionate videos which are very informative and helpful! I am working on filing a word mark for my products but worried that the uspto will reject my submission. I was intending on using my uncles dentist office as the domicile address, as I work from home, but after watching your video I am concerned this is not acceptable. The trademark is very similar to how Apple has a word mark for products in the computer or electronics class. For example, my trademark would be for "Beans" in the clothing class. As a friend, do you have any advice on how I can provide an acceptable domicile address or how I can stay ahead of any foreseen issues since my word mark would be for products that are not identifiable by the word mark itself?
