Someone told me the 10-30 cable has to be grounded separately or it won't charge the Tesla. Is that really true?

I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

Before you shut it off, dry it. Put it on fan or hotter than outside temp so the compressor doesn't turn on for about 2 hours. Keep vertical for at least 12 hours b4 starting. Compressors cant be horizontal.

I'm no cable engineer but if they replaced the node and the issue continues it can be one of two other things the cable itself on the pole is breaking apart due to age exposing copper areas and letting interference enter the line or another house in your neighborhood is not using a mocha filter with their TV cable box causing interference to leave their house and go back on to the main cable line. Easy way that may fix your problem or reduce it is to buy a cable modem with more downstream and upload bonded channels. Another way to see which channels are actually losing and dropping packets is to go to your errors log page and see which bonded channels are not working correctly if you have a Arris surfboard cable modem to find this information type in this link address in your internet web browser 192.168.100.1 PS if you have more than one channel that's dropping packets that are not correctable they will say uncorrectable.

That's over 20% more efficient than my old 1050 watt SPT WA-9000e, and it's a 9000 BTU unit. My room is only 120 sq. ft. with only 1 outside wall, so it gets cold quick and stays cold for awhile. It's also criminally quiet for a portable unit of its age It's been sitting around for almost 10 years, and it only gets borrowed by friends and relatives if their AC fails. Might as well use it!

How loud is the compressor? Can you hear it or does the fan drown it out?
