really wish club was more tap focused :(. it makes me sad that their company dosent even compete tap, and when they do, its this.. it might just be the stage mics but i can’t hear their taps at all, and the dances are just really boring.

I find it strange they don’t tell the other dancers waiting in the back to keep still? It must be so hard for judges to concentrate on the dancers in the front plus it gives those who are at the end of the line an advantage no?

I’m really rooting for her to win. I do think she’d really benefit from learning how to turn (maybe she can already, but I haven’t seen any turn sequences in her routines). It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant, just enough to show versatility (I imagine she could learn a double leg hold turn pretty quickly, it’s generally quite difficult but she already has the balance & the stability already). Edit: i have been corrected and told she can turn. I’m not surprised because it is incredibly rare for a dancer of her calibre to not be able to. I do wish it was showcased in her solos or improv

Me too! Sylvie Win is absolutely amazing! ❤And actually she can do many pivots very nicely! She’s done different kinds of turns in the Club group dances and in her previous solos. It must be the choreographer’s choice to not include any turns in this solo.

She can turn but it’s probably either not one of her strengths or the choreographer doesn’t what to add them in. She’s also tall which makes turning harder. But I’m sure she can turn very well since that’s something that’s judged at the dance awards in classes.
