Had terrible results with the 2.0 titanium…super small cuts and terrible blood trials. That was with a ravin shooting 450fps.. are they not designed for that speed? Maybe better for bows?

Would that be a good setup for antelope?

I have had 3 experiences with these. 1.(doe had a shoulder shot had the 1.5 max penetration did not penetrate deep enough for the vitals. 2(doe) in the vitals, never found deer. I was so confused I questioned if they shipped in practice mode. 3(buck) my buddy who loves these broadheads smoked a small buck and the blood trail was not great, we did find the deer but minimal blood. I will say the structure of the broadheads is excellent. You can reuse them, I’ve just had terrible luck getting blood trails with these. Try them for yourself, maybe your results would be different.

Been bowhunting since 1990. You have an EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND DESIGN. I switched from compound to crossbow 2 years ago. I love the ROBUSTO and that’s what I use now period. I’d love to see a 1.5 150 grain developed by you guys as an option but what you already have is great. I shoot HEAVY bolts the combination is awesome.

I have to ask. What's your draw length and draw weight? I have a 27" draw and 72#. I'm considering that weight for hunting here in Wyoming
@YahstiPerkinskillerАй бұрын
You and I are very close in specs. My draw length (DL) is 27.25”. I’m running about 75lbs of draw weight. At around 290fps, I’m in about 77ke, and .52 momentum.

Are you underpinned with that weight of a aarow
@YahstiPerkinskiller2 ай бұрын
No. I run a 300 spine arrow, with a carbon to carbon cut of about 26”. Keeping the air pretty stiff

I shot my elk with a 4 blade mini mag from grim reaper. I hit a rib on the entrance and it didn't pass all the way through but it broke the skin on the exit side the broadhead looked like it had never bin shot . I know all this single bevel heavy arrow crap is just marketing now

Everything works until it doesn't. That goes for any arrow set up out there.

Appreciate your honest thoughts man. I’m going with mechanicals too (evolution Hydes). I want the absolute best chance of my arrow hitting behind the pin, and I tune my bows to the best of my abilities. Fixed heads are awesome, but especially when my heart rate is up or I’m shooting weird angles, mechanicals are just more forgiving. Thanks for sharing your experiences, gives me confidence if I end up dropping arrow weight.

I agree totally! Well made fixed headers are amazing. It’s just tough to get a fixed to fly when jittered up, in the wind, and at distance. I’m with ya bud!👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

Yeah, the dewpoint rocks. I also have a Kodiak jacket (the original long AK Goretex Pro) and love that thing! I use that same setup but swap the Kelvin down for the Aerolite. I also have an Aerolite, but I might sell it because I love the downlite so much.

Both jackets are amazing. I like that they can compact into the pack and take up minimal room. Yet, warm as can be!
