J'ai vécu avec ma famille à Antsirabé dans les années 1960-1963. Nous étions scolarisés à l'Ecole catholique de la Providence. Existe-t-elle encore? C'était le temps de l' Indépendance. Le Président Tsiranana était alors à la tête du pays. Je vois que c'est toujours aussi pauvre et misérable. Que c'est triste!

@@rambo10101 No. I’m quite used to encountering wild animals and feel confident among them. If you know how to behave in their presence, particularly wolves and bears, they’re very fine and cute creatures. Moreover, this particular place wasn’t too remote. I’d wish I’d see some, but it’s extremely unlikely so close to civilization and its clamor.

Hey Dimi - so, on summit day, did you leave your tent pitched by the hut and part of your gear in it? Weren't you worried something might get stolen, while you were summiting? Happy to see you were self sufficient and carried all your stuff, no guide, no nothing :) Thanks!

@@ivano8485 Hi Ivano. Exactly. I wouldn’t say I was worried. I do the same all the time and never got anything stolen. In this particular one there were also many people in the camp. Of course I wouldn’t leave anything too valuable behind. Worse case scenario I can afford to lose a pot or a sleeping bag. But nothing ever happened. When any at all are around, people tend to be respectful in the mountains. Enjoy your trip! It’s a beautiful one.
