Hey man, love your videos! As someone who is new to tattooing and starting their tattoo collection, your videos are super helpful! I currently have a half sleeve on my forearm, and planning to shred off about 40 to 50 pounds. In your experience, do you think this weight loss will cause any stretching or distortions to the tattoos? I plan on losing the weight gradually over a 12 month period. Would appreciate your advice, thanks again!

I just got a 5 hour piece on the inner bicep, and I can confirm everything he said. Outline was ok, hurt but not unbearable. The shading had me biting my finger, controlling my breathing and hoping he was almost done.

Yeh, stomach for me was brutal 😢 my tattooist said if I pass out he’ll carry on, makes it easier for him as I was moving a lot during the tattoo! 😭

Some times I need the aquaphor, sometimes the lubriderm....on day 3.... Some people go straight to lotion and that's crazy, my skin freshly tattooed soaks that stuff up so quick, but this sounds super helpful

it’s not that it’s bad quality, they all are old and from like 2000-2010 when tattoos were just like those small random tattoos like a lion or a word randomly placed

as a newbie i think this is a very tattoo artist way of thinking (price not being the first thing you should worry). I do think it makes sense since its a permanent man made work that will last for ever but people who are asking are generally just wanting to know a ball park to know how much they should save. If i have 1k and the artist tells me its 3k well i just wasted my and the artist time because i still have to save up the other 2k that might takes weeks if not months.

I do photography and every client has some kind of consulting call and I can’t imagine charging them, showing up late, leaving early, and having the balls to ask for my full day rate and when to expect to meet up for a second session

I can’t imagine paying 180$ just to be told I need to spend thousands more just to get a preview of what I will then need to spend thousands of dollars to get.
