Jac, I’m not sure if you’re going to see this but I just rejoined one of those nameless Sacramento brokerages that you mentioned in your bio ;). You know which one, and I remember you very fondly from your time with us. I was just wondering “what ever happened to Jac?” when I found this podcast... So proud of your journey back and wishing you all the best. I hope you’re in a good place now and enjoying the success that you deserve. You were always a hard worker and true professional. Continue in Christ’s love and I’m sure that you’ll stay on the good path. Austin, this is great stuff. You should have way more subscribers! Keep up the good work guys 🤙

Forgive me, I’m going to be a little sexist… I think that this is a great perspective. For most women this comes naturally and I believe that that is part of the battle of the sexes… This is wonderful advice for men. This is a game changer for men in relationships with women. Whether it’s personal or business… Often after you support us (I am a woman) we will see your advice after feelings supported.

You just described being a people pleaser, and I realize that's most likely not your intention, but that is how you end up with people that only care about you when they can get something out of you

Your channel has great quality contents but still it is not delivering its right audiences due to SEO problems. You should focus on your SEO so that you can get a big fanbase. Thanks.

Then you lend a hand when possible. You see an old lady fall down in the middle of the highway and she struggles to her knees and falls....will you leave her there to die? So why does age or sex matter? .. takes nothing to lend a hand or an ear...

True, but a lot of people, including myself, don't have the funds, stability, time as you mentioned, to even think of or want Therapy. When we try and search for that therapy in others, for my case at least, I get extreme backlash in the form of generational misunderstanding, social norms overtaking people's actual thought process, lack of attention span, and so on. My ex hated therapy because she'd get bounced around 3 different therapists and had to explain her whole situation numerous times, all to be met with the same misunderstanding and prodding questions, as if they themselves had no mind of their own.

18:43 "There's a lot of sales involved." 100 percent! Most, if not all, jobs ultimately require sales. Need a job? Sell yourself in an interview. Need a loan? Sell the lender on your risk profile. Need someone to install your design? Sell it as the best solution. Need to motivate your team? Sell them on your vision, competency, and leadership. Sales is a hugely overlooked skill set that many, especially engineers, don't realize it is critical to success.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH LOUIS O' CONNOR I established my digital marketing company, with a focus on facilitating sales and marketing initiatives. Over time, I have engaged in email correspondence for these purposes, including interactions with Louis, CEO of Strategic Metals Invest. Initially, our communication led to further engagement on LinkedIn, where we exchanged dialogue and explored potential opportunities. However, it became evident that his intentions were not entirely transparent, as his inquiries began to resemble information gathering exercises. Subsequently, he ceased communication abruptly by blocking me, an action which I accepted and moved forward from. Despite my oversight in omitting him from subsequent email distributions, Louis unexpectedly re-engaged after a lapse of two months. Expressing interest in availing my services to train his workforce-comprising 60 employees across various ventures, notably Tradium GMBH, Metlock GMBH, and other purportedly affiliated enterprises-he proposed a collaboration during Holy Week. Agreeing to his proposition, I diligently prepared training materials and cleared my schedule accordingly. However, on Thursday, Louis cited delays in payment processing due to holiday observances within the offices of Tradium and Metlock in Germany, where the invoices had been forwarded. Furthermore, he intimated that alternate offers from entities in India had prompted him to seek a revised agreement, insinuating a potential renegotiation of terms. While skeptical of his motives, I demonstrated flexibility by offering reduced rates, contingent upon immediate commitment. Regrettably, Louis failed to reciprocate the urgency, exhibiting inconsistencies throughout our discussions. Despite my efforts to accommodate his shifting demands, he accused me of undue pressure and greediness, a characterization which I refute. Notably, when informed of their budget limitations at $48,000, I proactively adjusted my proposal downward to $40,000, striving to facilitate a mutually beneficial arrangement. Recognizing the escalating uncertainty surrounding our dealings, I requested verifiable evidence of Louis's engagements with his accounting offices and counterparts in India, seeking to clarify his assertions and alleviate concerns. However, he evaded these requests and ceased communication altogether, prompting me to reconsider our professional association. He just admitted here that he just fooled us. Read here: facebook.com/photo/?fbid=472550848251829&set=a.472550794918501 In light of these circumstances, I feel compelled to caution against engaging in business ventures with Louis and his affiliated partners. While my reservations stem from the observed inconsistencies and unfulfilled assurances in our interactions, it is my intention to provide transparent feedback aimed at informing prospective collaborators of potential challenges encountered in international business dealings. Thus, I cannot recommend, in good conscience, Louis or his associated enterprises due to the perceived risks of engaging in opaque or untrustworthy practices. #unethical #irelandsworst #germanysworst
