This movie was cool but I never thought it was that spooky

This video is perfect. I have always thought the same thing about this bear. This thing is fucking terrifying. I don't scare easily at all, as I'm well acquainted with horror movies, media, games and constantly absorbing spooks. But this guy the primordial fear button inside me. The scene is perfectly crafted and the monster is the perfect marriage of chaos familiarity. It will haunt me till I die.

I joined a band years ago with some friends from work and they're the ones who introduced me to Gregory Alan Isakov and Ben Folds, both of whom are probably in my top 5. Isakov though, his music is just so peaceful, haunting, happy, and so much more. Every year duing fall I always sit out on the porch with a glass of whiskey and listen to an album of his front to back.

The Thing was pretty good for puppets.

It takes a lot for me to not find a horror film laughable especially when they show the “ monster “ but this film because of this bear shook me. Using your friends and or loved ones cries for help and in pain to attract you only to come face to face with that is honestly one of the best/worst things I’ve ever seen in a horror film.

First time I saw the movie, I hadn't noticed the human skull on the side of its head and thought that it had the ability to mimic sounds and voices in order to lure prey. I think I need to watch this again because now I feel like I've missed a few things like this.

Sorry but The Thing is the scariest movie monster. Imagine an alien creature that has no known original form. The fact it can either violently assimilate its victim or slowly do it without them even knowing, and that the latter method can happen simply by unknowingly consuming the smallest amount of the creature’s dna. The fact it can perfectly imitate human, canine or anything else almost perfectly and that no one knows who is really human or alien is terrifying. Paranoia is its biggest fear factor as not knowing if only one of your friends is an alien or if all of them are is nerve wracking.

Certainly scary, but not the ultimate. The monsters in "They" and the devil in "Devil" are the scariest monsters for me. This monster just k* you and you can outsmart it... those other two... they drag you to their own horrific dimension where unimaginable horrors and torture awaits you- in the dark and and cut off from humanity. The shadowy monsters in "They" are particularly haunting, and they're utterly relentless(I think that's where the idea of "It Comes At Night" is from. Scary, but not as scary as "They"). I'm not scared by horror movies- they don't trigger any fears whther I'm alone, in the dark out somewhere in the wild where there's no one for dozens of miles... but when I think of the Devil- I imagine him to be like the one in that movie- and the worst is, he is real. Movies are- after all, devices of the devil to keep us busy and away from finding Christ, so imagine how much more scarier he is, or could appear- if his products like this movie monster, scares the skin off us. "The Thing" is 3rd after these 2.
