Jack Dempsey passed before Mike got into boxing unfortunately, not sure if Tyson ever met Dempsey because Jack was having health problems in the early 80s and didn’t get out much anymore.

Tell me how many hall of famers each beat Mike Tyson Manny Pacquiao Joe Frazier Sugar Ray Leonard Floyd Mayweather Jr. Shane Mosley Greg Haugen Julio Cesar Chavez Roy Jones Jr Timothy Bradley Roberto Duran Lennox Lewis
@MikeTysonLifeАй бұрын
Mike Tyson: Tyson's most notable win against a Hall of Famer was over Larry Holmes, but many of his prime opponents haven't made it to the Hall of Fame. Manny Pacquiao: Pacquiao beat several Hall of Famers, including Oscar De La Hoya, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, and Shane Mosley. Joe Frazier: Frazier's most famous victory was against Muhammad Ali. He also fought George Foreman and Jimmy Ellis. Sugar Ray Leonard: Leonard beat multiple Hall of Famers, including Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, Marvin Hagler, and Wilfred Benitez. Floyd Mayweather Jr.: Mayweather's wins over Hall of Famers include Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley, and Arturo Gatti. Shane Mosley: Mosley defeated Oscar De La Hoya twice, but his other wins over potential Hall of Famers are less certain. Greg Haugen: Haugen's most significant win was against Hector Camacho, a Hall of Famer. Julio Cesar Chavez: Chavez beat Edwin Rosario and Hector Camacho, both Hall of Famers. Roy Jones Jr.: Jones defeated James Toney and Bernard Hopkins, who are both in the Hall of Fame. Timothy Bradley: Bradley's biggest win over a Hall of Famer is Manny Pacquiao, although that victory remains controversial. Roberto Duran: Duran defeated Sugar Ray Leonard, Ken Buchanan, and Esteban De Jesús, who are all in the Hall of Fame. Lennox Lewis: Lewis scored wins over Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson, both of whom are Hall of Famers.

@MikeTysonLife you missed about 4 more hall of famers on Floyd plus another 2 that are 1st ballot and another 2 that have been on the ballot but aren't in yet. You missed a few with Pacquiao too
@jehdee22Ай бұрын
@MikeTysonLife Mayweather Current fighters beat that are in the HOF Diego Corrales Arturo Gatti Oscar De La Hoya Ricky Hatton Juan Manuel Marquez Shane Mosley Miguel Cotto For sure 1st ballot future Pacquiao (eligible 2025 if no pro fights taken) Canelo (easily a for sure 1st ballot based on accolades, titles won, undisputed 168 first ever etc... Fighters who have been on the ballot and will get in but not in yet Genaro Hernandez Zab Judah Pacquiao Barrera Morales Marquez De La Hoya Hatton Cotto Mosley Bradley No fighters left to get into the hof.

ARTUR IS STRONG POWERFULL PUNCH BIBOL TECNIQUE WOULD NOT HELP HIM
@MikeTysonLifeАй бұрын
I’m with you on that. Bivol’s technical skills, disciplined defense, and sharp straight punches make him a tough opponent for anyone. He has a great ability to control the distance and pace of the fight, which could really frustrate Beterbiev. While Beterbiev’s power is always a threat, Bivol's precision and movement can definitely wear him down over the rounds. It’ll be interesting to see if Bivol can stay disciplined and stick to his game plan against Beterbiev's pressure. Should be a great fight!

My favorite boxer of all time. I know his abilities were cannily due to his genetics and hard work but I also wonder what they had him supplement with. Anyone know? Thanks.
@MikeTysonLife2 ай бұрын
Mike Tyson’s abilities were definitely a mix of his incredible genetics, insane work ethic, and discipline. While there’s always curiosity about supplements, during his prime, it was mainly about old-school training methods, proper diet, and mental toughness. If anyone knows more about specific supplements from that era, feel free to share!
