Better off making your own curry like Indian style can’t beat a lovely Indian curry. I’ve got the recipe from a friend of mine when I cook this chicken vindaloo, the whole street can smell it better than the smell from any takeaway brilliant😛

Guys, really like these videos. Hope you make more. Would love to see you guys show us something authentic and home made, then compare that to the store bought stuff. Would be interested in seeing if you could make a really authentic meal from a uk supermarket. Cheers

The word "Desi" comes from the Sanskrit word "Desh" meaning "country". ... For example, all things Indian including Indian expatriates were referred to as "desi".🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Bought a tin of the Tesco one yesterday. Had it this afternoon with some basmati rice. It was quite nice. I'm not sure eating these things without rice is a good idea. When I do my next food shop I will get loads of them for my rainy day cupboard.

I've tried both - and others. You're being very charitable. I'd be hard put to judge the best - they were both equally disgusting. I'm also very cautious about processed 'meat' products, especially in tins. Sometimes it's enough of a shock simply reading the list of ingredients.

Went here tonight and got this exact order. I didn't like the food at all. The special dosa had a weird after taste. Loads of aloo not enough paneer. Wasn't feeling the daal they give you with it or any of the sauces. The lamb dosa was greasy and had 4 pieces of lamb in it. £17 down the drain. I should've got a kebab from the chippy lol. Your videos are good though man. Keep them coming. This place was just a miss for me. Maybe others will enjoy it. I'll never go back lol

Hey was this from Chennai dosa? You didn't shout out the restaurant. The best thing about Brum is so much variety! I think Caribbean food is underrated. Jerk and Grill on Soho hill was my favorite but when I ordered from the West Brom branch I got reheated food, from microwave, so I would not recommend them. But "Top Taste" on West Brom High st is also good. I like the Hake Fish with rice and peas, also the stew chicken, or the boneless fish, which is similar to fish Pakoreh but comes with a really nice sauce.

can I request pls to also give some veggie or seafood alternatives for people who are not allowed to eat sacrificially killed meat, for religious purposes, as it is hard to not eat halal with so many delicious foods being halal nowadays?

I used to work at Virgin Media on the Waterfront back in the day. I agree about Lamb Chops being very tough in Dhesi Mixed grill. There was a Yemeni restaurant called Arabian Oasis on Stratford Rd/Kyotts Lake RD which did brilliant food. They had very Tender and Perfectly seasoned Lamb and mixed grill, not over salty like some places. They also had "Fall-off-the-bone Lamb shanks' which were to die for, but unfortunately they closed down. There are some Turkish Kebab paces in Smethwick but they are a bit bland compared to Arabian Oasis. Please try some middle East places and compare to Dhesi places. I am always looking for recommendations, I will let you know if I find any good ones myself.

Harj: Waterfront used to be my hang out as a teen. My mate used to own the chippy Fat Fannys up the road. Not the best name but food was bangin! You’re right consistently good lamb chops are hard to find

Kiddha bros, got a bit of a list of places you should check out: merry maid (best chops and fish pakoray in Brum) the covered wagon (for the mixed grill - chicken tikka there is legit) soho tavern (standard spot for a peg sheg) If you're in London, you should go to regency club (best mixed grill you'll ever have, sabjiyaan there bangs too!)
